The velodrome was more fun than words can express. This was my first time. Learning how to use the angled banking of the bike track is physics and athleticism. For a first timer, figuring out how that you just need to keep pedaling until you are on the flatter stretch of the velodrome was exhilarating. Trying it out is a must. It is amazing that it is available to the public. Thanks to Lloyd for taking me there.

Great velodrome, i do laps but dont really know what I'm doing. If I want to do some good exercise on the bike it's either this , or mowing down pedestrians on the creek trail , or being mowed down by cars on Nicholson st.see ya

An amazing outdoor velodrome that is well maintained and always clean.

The Brunswick Cycling Club runs the site. It was recently upgraded with new club rooms and the track being painted.

Open to the public, any one can use it on any bike as long as it isn't booked by the club.

Cycled past it for years and used the relatively calm microclimate for a couple of fantastic games of frisbee, but have recently found the cycle club to be an excellent and welcoming community. Really enjoying the time spent there… and you can go really fast around...
