Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Melbourne

Would give no stars if it were an option.

Ordered for dinner at around 8pm. Order was nearly and hour and a half leaving the store. This didn’t really bother us as we understand they’re probably busy at dinner time and on a Thursday before a public holiday especially. When we tried to call for an update after an hour or so they wouldn’t answer the phone.

Then the fun started. The delivery driver “delivered” our pizzas to a totally random address and was then totally uncontactable, as was the store. The pizzas were found by a neighbour of ours in the street behind us left in the lane way beside a security gate for a retirement home. 200m from our house…

We tried to contact the store multiple times but to no avail. We also submitted a feedback form online but haven’t heard anything back. Pretty poor all round really. Probably end up having to dispute the charges with my bank.

This store is ridiculous! I order a pizza meal on NYE, it was 45 minutes past the ETA for delivery and the tracking still says the store received the order. So I went down there myself to check what’s going on because NO ONE picked up the phone despite calling so many times trying to get through. When I got there, first the guy said they didn’t get my order, but my order was already printed out, then he said they didn’t have any dough left to make the pizza base. When I asked if they know they didn’t have pizza base, why didn’t they call us, it was past 8:15pm. He said he would call when they have time? Honestly what? So they would leave the customer starving until who knows what time??? There were 3 workers in the shop at that time and no one thought to call the customer way past dinner time??? Beware Customers! My parents walked in and ordered a few large pizzas. It was a Tuesday, so they knew it was that 2 for 1 deal on any large pizzas. When they paid, staff charged them over $100. When they were waiting for the pizzas to be made, my parents called me and didn't understand why it was expensive. So I went there & asked staff "why my parents were charged over $100 for a few large pizzas, i thought it was 2 for 1 deal on Tuesday?!?". Then staff member said "since your parents didn't say anything about it, they got charged full price". I was so annoyed and told them "you know its a Tuesday, so why the customers, have to tell you the deal!?! You should just tell customers its 2 for 1 deal for any large pizzas!".
