After visiting numerous gardens in Melbourne, we decided to have our wedding ceremony and reception in the Sunken Garden in Melbourne’s Burnley Gardens. The University of Melbourne staff were supportive and understanding of our needs and wishes, and they did everything they could under difficult COVID restrictions. There are lots of places within the gardens for wedding photographs without being disturbed. The Sunken Gardens are paved with ramp access - perfect for guests with diverse mobility needs. Read moreThis BEAUTIFUL HIDDEN GEM is mind blowing. It is some what hidden. It is full of lush green everything everywhere. Its like a mini version of the botanical gardens. I can't recommend this place enough! It's peaceful. It's calming. It has little hidden paths that take you into a somewhat jungle/rainforest type vibe. Perfect for meditation!
