I would like to thank Shadi, Ali, and the entire Pack and Send Hawthorn Team for an amazing international shipping experience. I purchased several delicate blown glass items and a piece of art from Gibson's Auctioneers in Perth, Australia and needed to have them all shipped 11,000+ miles/18,000+ km to Alpharetta, Georgia, USA (a suburb of Atlanta). That is a journey!

The communication was outstanding (I am 12 time zones behind) and the packing was state of the art. All of my boxes arrived perfectly! I was very impressed with the packaging materials used: from the film on the glass of the framed art to prevent breakage, to the spray foam used for packing some of the blown glass (keeping these pieces tight and safe), to the colored tape on many of the bubble-wrapped blown glass pieces (it helps to understand where to remove the tape/cut the tape)! Everything arrived without issue.

Becareful with this Pack & Send Hawthorn.

We did two quotes with them at $600 AUD as we were leaving Australia and wanted to be sure of what we would have to pay. 30 days after the last quote we went back to Pack & Send Hawthorn to send our stuff the quote was more than the double, $1300 AUD. We had 1 more box than the original quote but the person from pack & send told us it was because of the oil price increase. I don’t think that the oil price doubled at this time 🤔. We were already at Pack & Send with all our boxes and it was our last days in Oz so we didn’t have other choices than accepting this unfair situation. After being robbed by Pack & Send Hawthorn we wrote to the customer service to complain and they just forwarded our email to Pack & Send Hawthorn. The customer service was really bad and the guy from Pack & Send Hawthorn was really agressive in his replies.
