What a disappointment and rip off!! Ordered the classic Hungarian schnitzel and goulash and couldn't believe the portion size. For the goulash, the mash potato was nice, however the portion was horrible. What you see wasn't even eaten - just 3 measly pieces of meat! A flat plate also to decrease portion size. And the schnitzel, decent size but again, what's w the portion size for the chips and salad? Also, waitress seemed edgy when we walked in a half hr earlier then our reservation, at 5pm instead of 5.30pm, when it was dead empty and no one came within the hour we were there. Finally, we did order an Indian entree, Amritsari fish, and my partner said it was no where near authentic (didn't take a photo but this portion was at least alright).

I must say, I had lamb korma! It was the worst ever curry I have ever had! It was not the coconut that you say was the taste, the curry sauce itself was tasteless. Soo runny like water and I think you need to review the way you make your curry. I love Indian curry and have eaten at multiple Indian restaurants and have always been left satisfied. Today I regret ever walking inside. I’m sorry for being brutally honest but it made sense your restaurant was empty? Maybe review your dishes and do better satisfying your customers. Maybe then your restaurant will fill up? Please do better if you want to attract regular customers. I’m sorry to say, I will not be one.

Been wanting to come here for years as it’s an interesting combination. To be clear they had two separate menus. But that doesn’t mean you can’t order from both. And surprisingly Indian and Hungarian pair up pretty well. Mind blowing was the langoosh, (deep fried bread) Incredibly moorish. Dipped in with the palak paneer 👏🏾 The Sztarpacska, dumplings that are covered in sour cream, cheese and bacon, reminded me of a more flavourful and textural mac n cheese. Have that with the pickled cucumber salad and it’s just amazing comfort food.

As an experienced , skilled cook who creates recipes and mother of five adult children i am livid that this restaurant prepares and serves food that can only be described as regurgitated , partially digested food ....the food smelt like vomit .... it was a rancid , putrid , foul smell not fit for consumption Sadly , when i rang the restaurant to relay my feedback the owner hung up on me . I encourage young people as well as the elderly who may be hesitant to pass on honest feedback due to being time poor and or hesitant to offend PLEASE BE MINDFUL when you are handing over your hard earned money

The owners of restaurants know if the quality of their food is substandard and i suspect the owner of this restaurant is capitalising on the fact that the majority of young adults choose not to pass on their feedback feeling somewhat embarrassed that they have wasted their hard earned money

To the owner ...... consider firing your cook or accept accountability for knowingly serving SPOILED ,REPULSIVE FOOD.

Please look into this feedback seriously and i wish you all the best in taking measures to implement changes

The star system ought to be changed in that i wanted to select a NO STAR grade but doing so prevented me from writing this feedback therefore i was reluctantly given no option but to have...

An unusual and exciting combination indeed, I had passed this restaurant countless times before finally deciding to try it, only to wonder why I hadn't done so sooner! Like other reviewers have said, this is not a fusion restaurant, but rather one offering two distinct menus, both as delicious as one another. I normally order two dishes for each course -- one from each cuisine -- and the portions and flavour never disappoint. The service is always attentive, and the décor is wonderfully homely -- special credit to their efforts with the Christmas lights! There are simply too many good dishes to list individually, but special mentions are due for the Amritsari fish appetiser, and the Sztrapacska (available in both appetiser and main sizes), and the mango lassi. Although already reasonably priced, dine on Mondays and Tuesdays to enjoy a selection of favourite main courses from each cuisine for...

As an Indian here in Melbourne, I barely eat at Indian restaurants, because I know it won't satisfy my taste buds. Therefore I read all the reviews before going. This place has such highly regarded reviews that one might think it's the best restaurant in town. This review is for people like me and specially Indians who are craving good food. The restaurant has nice vibe, the service is good too. Nothing to complain about. But the food is not up to the standards if I'm being honest. The paneer butter masala tastes like paneer in tomato sauce, the chicken Tikka is not worth it. Butter chicken was okay, tandoori roti was really good but naan were really bad. Make sure you try Hungarian if you go, as I think they get more reviews for that. But if you are Indian, maybe try...
