During my recent visit to DFO Moorabbin, I had a mixed experience that resulted in a four-star rating. While there were several positives, one aspect that left a negative impression was the hourly parking fee of $12.
Let's start with the positives. DFO Moorabbin offers a wide selection of stores with discounted prices, making it a haven for bargain hunters. The variety of options available, from fashion to home goods, ensures that you'll find something to suit your needs. The mall is well-organized and easy to navigate, and the staff members I interacted with were friendly and helpful.
However, the parking fee was a disappointment. The $12 hourly charge adds up quickly, especially if you plan to spend a considerable amount of time at the mall. While I understand the need for parking fees to cover maintenance and security, it would have been more customer-friendly to offer a more affordable or discounted rate for extended stays.
Despite this setback, I still believe that DFO Moorabbin has a lot to offer. The discounted prices and range of stores make it a worthwhile destination for those looking for a good deal. Just be mindful of the parking fees and plan your visit accordingly to avoid any surprises.
In conclusion, DFO Moorabbin provides a diverse shopping experience with great discounts and friendly staff. However, the high hourly parking fee detracts from an otherwise positive experience. Consider this factor when planning your visit, and make the most of the fantastic deals available at the...

As a mum, the parents room here is abysmal. It is terribly small. I went to 2 of the 4 and they were both the same size.
It doesnât have a feeding room so you have no privacy when feeding your little one. Which can be very uncomfortable when dads are going in and out with their children. Also when the doors open it stays open for a little while and everyone can peer inside and see you feeding.
The room itself literally consists of one very hard plastic chair, one change space, enough room for one pram and a microwave. At the second time in the parents room, there happened to be another mum in there feeding and I could barely get my pram without having to play Tetris. It was so squished with the two prams, that another family couldnât come use the toilets there.
This is just really poor form, whoever built/designed this store did not have any consideration for parents at all. They really need to rectify this.
*Iâve attached a video for reference of how small...
