Average Burger with great chips, while the shop is well presented and maintained, customer service was a little nonchalant with their customers. So lets break it down… Atmosphere: ***** Small little place but impeccably clean, would only seat about 15-20 people at capacity and a few outside. Nevertheless, it’s has a fresh appeal with the leaves through lattice on the brick wall. Definitely, feels that this is a stop in place and not a place to eat in, unless you have a small group of mates who love burgers. Music taste was good but little loud for lunch time, have a feeling this was more due to the staff wanting to enjoy the tunes while they work (can’t hold this against them). Customer Service: *** While the representative was courteous and helpful. No one was at the counter, there is a lot of clutter and a wall block that hides the vision for anyone working behind the counter. I was in the establishment for about 3 minutes perusing the menu until the representative checked the store to notice I was there. I would suggest reducing this clutter. I opted to dine in for lunch, and was advised of a 10 to 15 minute wait. Food was delivered hot and fresh in approx. 8 minutes. Well done. Food (why we are here):**** Order was a Hot & Mad Burger with chips and a can of drink $20.20 – 20c surcharge for Visa I’m guessing. But they do have $15 lunch deal which I do want to try (see pic) Hot & Mad Burger *** – It was good not great, the Caramelised onions make this burger too sweet for my taste (but if you like that) and it dominated the flavour; plus the Jalapenos weren’t spicy at all, nor was the Spicy Mayo. This is mild, which was a letdown. However the burger was hot, and the tasty nonetheless. Chips*****: (Must Try) – It’s terrible to say, but I enjoyed the chips over the burger. They were perfect! No other way to say it! Overall: For a first experience, customer service seemed to be a little nonchalant (but it was after rush hour…so). Nevertheless, this is a well looked after place, with burgers that a definitely better than any staple fast food place and chips you have to get around. Thanks Mad Patties.

Last weekend we visited Mad Patties in Mitcham, it is a burger place located just 3 minutes walk from Mitcham station 🏃🏻‍♀️ There were so many burger options to choose from whether you prefer beef, chicken, seafood, vegetarian or vegan ‼️ We got: 🍗 Gangnam Style We always love a korean fried chicken burger, especially with the coating that Mad Patties do, it helps the chicken stay crunchy and holds the spicy sauce really well 🍔 Juicy Jason This was named juicy for a reason! The kransky gave a nice pop and all ingredients work well together. Perfect for those who wants a classic with a little twist 🍃 Red Alert (Vegetarian/Vegan) This blew us away! I’m not big on beetroot but this burger may have convinced me otherwise. The patty itself gave that grilled meat flavor even tho it’s not meat 🤯 Definitely a unique item everyone needs to try 🍟 Loaded Fries with Chili Beef Mince The beef itself was nice, the chips were crunchy and freshly cooked. Not the best out of everything we tried, but a little more seasoning will go along way for sure 🍗 Mad Wing Wing Who can say no to a sticky messy yummy wings?! These are the wings that you’d expect to get when you crave those crispy and juicy bites, whether you’re sitting in a restaurant or on your sofa at home 🥜 Salty Peanut Butter Shake Perfect blend between the peanut butter, salted caramel and the ice cream, very generous with the peanut butter especially with the peanut chunks in it 🍓 Strawberry Shake Can’t go wrong with a classic strawberry shake! Delicious thicc shake is perfect to break up the juiciness of the burgers Overall, we really enjoyed our experience here. The place was well decorated, staff was very friendly and ready to help, the food & shakes were yummy and the portion was great! Definitely one to put in your bookmark list 🥰

First impressions when I walked in the door were positive. The decor is simple, greening up the place with plants (albeit if scrutinised you will notice they are plastic) and other natural colours forming a pleasant contrast along with the with the white walls. Ambient music plays in the background, fortunately not the typical pop you might be hearing everywhere else, and it plays at a nice volume as well. Welcoming staff greet me at the counter as I order my fries; the wait isn't long. The food is moderately priced, and it tastes delectable, so I don't second-guess my spending. The fries are crispy and hot and politely delivered to the table at which I am seated, unfortunately, water was not. They are nicely golden in colour and have the delicious scent of freshly fried potatoes. My fellow diner devours their burger with relish. The burger which he eats appears equally good as it must taste. There is no free Wi-Fi as some may have come to expect from takeaway places, but this is only an enabler for better conversations with your fellow diners, or just enjoying the moment in consumption of your tasteful meal. The friendly staff express gratitude for our patronage as we depart. This is not a fancy restaurant nor is it a garish fast-food place, instead, it's a pleasantly modern diner with friendly staff and flavoursome food.

I really wanted to like Mad Patties. I've had meals from there 4 times now. The burgers taste great, and I love the onion rings. So why the low rating? ...The service is pretty bad. In the 4 times I've ordered food from there, only 1 time was without a hitch. After tonight I have decided that even thought the burgers aren't as great at Maccas at least the service is reliable, quick and friendly. Id prefer the Mad Patties burgers but not if the service experience remains as it is. The first time I ordered a family meal there was with Uber eats, everything went without a hitch, the food was great, it came quickly and we loved the meal. I was happy that Mad Patties was in town. The next two meals we ordered via Uber eats there was missing items.Getting a refund from Uber was easy enough, but that's not the point, we ordered food that we wanted to eat and it didnt all come. The orders were incomplete. Tonight, the 4th time, I decided to go into the shop, as this way I could check the order to make sure it was complete. I walked to the counter, I didnt even get a word out when the service girl put up a finger an told me to wait. No hello, no eye contact, just a demanding finger and "wait" Slightly surprised I watched her push keyboard buttons. I figured she was processing a previous order. 1 minute went by and the keyboard kept clicking, 2 minutes, same, 3 minutes a lady came from the kitchen, made a joke to her and she then went back to keyboard clicking. Still no acknowledgement of me the customer. After 4 minutes nothing had changed, so I left the shop and went to Maccas. Mad Patties could be a GREAT business,...
