I can't begin to express how delighted we were with our experience at TwistED Science for my son's birthday party. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable day filled with laughter, learning, and boundless joy. The combination of engaging activities, friendly staff, and a vibrant atmosphere made it a celebration that will be etched in our memories forever.

TwistED Science truly lives up to its name, as it encourages kids to engage in playful scientific exploration. The vast array of hands-on exhibits and interactive displays fascinated both children and parents alike. The kids were thrilled to immerse themselves in various experiments, from creating bubbling concoctions to exploring the laws of physics through fun experiments.

What sets this playcentre apart is the dedication and enthusiasm of the staff. They were amazing at engaging the children, guiding them through the activities, and ensuring that everyone had a blast. The staff members' patience and understanding of children's curiosity and needs were truly commendable. They made sure every child felt included and encouraged them to think critically and explore their imaginations.

In addition to the fantastic activities, TwistED Science provided a well-organized birthday party package that took a load off my shoulders as a parent. From the setup of the party area to the serving of delicious food, everything was taken care of flawlessly. The birthday party hosts were attentive and ensured that every aspect of the celebration ran smoothly, allowing us to relax and enjoy the day with our son and his friends.

The party concluded with a cake-cutting ceremony that left all the children beaming with joy. The smiles on their faces were priceless as they sang "Happy Birthday" to my son and enjoyed the delectable treats.

I can't forget to mention our wonderful host, Dan, whose warm and friendly demeanor made everyone feel comfortable and added an extra layer of joy to the celebration. His genuine passion for engaging with the kids and making sure everyone had a great time truly made the day even more special.

In conclusion, our experience at TwistED Science Playcentre was nothing short of extraordinary. It's more than just a playcentre; it's an enchanting realm of learning, laughter, and exploration. From the moment we walked in until the time we bid farewell, the entire celebration was seamless and delightful. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our son's birthday, and we wholeheartedly recommend TwistED Science Playcentre to all parents seeking an exceptional and educational play experience for...

I am writing to express my disappointment following our visit today. As previous annual members, we have always enjoyed our experiences here, particularly because of the welcoming and helpful staff. Unfortunately, today's visit was marked by a stark contrast to the positive experiences we’ve had in the past.

The attitude and behavior of the staff were concerning, especially in their interactions with both children and parents. While ordering drinks from the café, the gentleman behind the counter was notably blunt and unhelpful. Additionally, the individual working on the floor, who appeared to be in their sixties, displayed a concerning lack of courtesy, both to us and to others. I overheard her speaking in a similarly dismissive tone to other patrons as well.

To add to our disappointment, as the session was nearing its end at 11:29, she approached us in a rather abrupt manner, asking if we had tickets for the dome. When I explained that we did not, her immediate response was, "Well, you need to leave now." While we were already on our way out, the tone and delivery of her message were unnecessarily harsh, especially in the presence of our children. A more respectful approach, such as, "We are about to prepare for the next session," would have been far more appropriate.

When I inquired about providing feedback, the gentleman mentioned that feedback forms were not available during school holidays. This response seemed less about operational constraints and more about the potential volume of complaints.

Upon further discussion, the lady explained that the staff needed to begin cleaning, but I feel it is unreasonable for guests to be ushered out before the session's official end time. A more considerate approach would have left a lasting positive impression on all attendees.

I hope you will take this feedback into account. I believe customer service training would greatly benefit your staff, ensuring a more pleasant and respectful environment for all.

I did go to leave this review via your website, however it didn't let me submit directly. So hopefully it will find the right...

I visited twisted science with my 5 yr old and a couple of friends and their kids a few weeks back. We finally made it after all the 'hype' about it on few websites and FB ! Seeing is believing ! It's a nice place to explore various sections and learn about Science - more so by figuring it out on your own or as a parent who has to Google a specific experiment in order to explain it to smaller kids. To be honest, I expected more from visiting this place. One would expect more instructions and explanations / theories with every experiment. Some constructive feedback which hopefully you can implement in the near future: Why doesn't Twisted Science have printed material regarding each area on the wall so that kids are educated on each experiment with the theories of that respective experiment. It's unfortunate that some of the sections have no instructions or explanations and we as parents have to Google everything in order to educate our kids on science. The price for the parent doesn't exactly add up as we don't do anything but just accompany the child and help the child out when required. I understand you have overheads that need to be taken care of but a more reasonable pricing would be fair on the parent.

The 'wow' factor at Twisted science was the bubble section. There was a kind lady from Twisted science who I requested to explain about the fog from the bubbles.

It is a great place for science but hopefully you would consider making available explanations on the wall just like the...

Twisted Science. It's fantastic! I've got two kids under 10 and they both have so much fun here. We've been a few times and there's always some new way to explore the place. They love the amazing transforming sand, the giant bubbles, the pixel play, the reptile encounter, eating bugs, making fast cars, shooting rockets, creating stop animation, building carts and castles, writing with light, testing their reflexes and that's not even mentioning 50 other hands-on activities. It's a very safe space too where the staff are very attentive and the kids can really play and have fun. My 4 year old loves the tangerine room and my 6 year old has the time of her life in the blue and green rooms. They both have different interests and are captivated for hours. Highly recommend! We have been to both sold out sessions and quiet sessions, even at its most busy it is not crowded or hectic. There's so much to do. Super impressed that they don't just sell more tickets and pack it out. It means the kids, no matter how busy, have a great time. 10/10. We will be back many times! I have a great time there too by the way. It's a creative and hands on learning experience that is also fun, surprising and challenging in all the right ways. There is also a cafe, lots of parking and a small science based gift shop.

Visited a few weekends ago with my family. This place is such a great family day out for every one of all ages and abilities. I can not recommend this place highly enough. From the moment you get there, the car park is large and spots are wide, making it easy to access for those who have hidden disabilities. When we entered, there was no wait in line and the staff member who greeted us was friendly and informative. Once we entered the main area of all the STEM related activities, we noticed it was divided up into three age related sections. Each section was fenced and flat, making it a safe environment for all to enjoy and easy for me to manoeuvre around a double pram. As well as this, toilets were clean and easy to access. They have a small canteen area or a gated area where you can enjoy your own food brought from home. The gift shop had such a great variety of activities and the only gift shop I’ve ever been to which was not over priced for what you got. All the staff we met, were so welcoming and genuinely fun/nice. Also, if you are a small ideas member you get a discount, so don’t forget to pre book your tickets.

We had the most incredible time visiting Twisted Science with our kids! It truly has *everything* — from slime making to getting up close with bugs, plus so many hands-on, science-based activities that kept the kids engaged and excited. We loved the dedicated area for younger kids, the pretend play science lab, and the dark room with incredible projections — every part of it was so thoughtfully put together. A special shout-out to Dan, our private host, who took such amazing care of us and the kids. He made everything so interactive, fun, and welcoming — the kids had an absolute blast with him! Twisted Science would also be a fantastic place for birthday parties. Their party packages even include slime making, which was definitely one of the highlights of our visit! We can't wait to come back. Highly, highly recommend for a fun, educational, and unforgettable day out!
