I attended this Venue on the 24/2/24 for the Made in USA show in my wheelchair . Entertainment was great . Bar Staff were great . Even the waitress clearing tables was caring enough to as weather I was ok when I hoping back into my wheel chair . And other patrons around me were great as well . But right at the end of the night as I was leaving the venue the manageress acosted me . As she approached I thanked her for running a great venue . All she wanted to talk about was how that night was a quite night so they let me move around as I pleased . But on a busy night they wouldn't allow me to move around . Now because there was many people around I "walked " the wheel chair around a little while enjoying the atmosphere . She made it sound like they had done me a favour . They hadn't . I have been going to lucky 13 Garage since 2022 . Not because I need to or it's my local but because I want to . The want has now gone . How does this manageress not no I haven't been to other venues full of people with no injuries caused by me or my wheel chair ? Point she doesn't . Like if she wanted to have a dig at my wheel chair it seems only reasonable she should acknowledge I impacted with no one and anyone who was around me who didn't show an interest in me I let them be . The manageress concerned needs to understand a few things . 1 other patrons urged me to be up front near the stage . 2 lucky 13 is across the other side of town for me . 3 I have been to other venues where I am warmly received in my wheel chair . 4 I have been to other venues when able bodied and noted persons in wheel chairs move about freely within the venue . 5 If I am moving about in my wheel chair and someone is moving / walking in close proximity to me I instantly stop and let them pass by . 6 I am always cautious of not blocking anyone's path and where possible I will and have done in the past move my wheel chair so that people around me can move freely . I was actually discussing this morning out in the community my experience and the person I was talking to commentwd yes the manageress doesn't have a happy disposition . The irony of this is shortly I come out of the wheel chair but her conduct has left a sour taste with me in regards to...
Read moreSo we go there to meet my friend and 8 others for his birthday and I have with me my wife and her daughter when the doorman asks for Id from my daughter in-law who is 25 years old. We say she is a Russian student here studying at Melb uni and she has a scan of her passport on her phone. This Einstein reply’s after looking at it is how do I know it’s real. We say well we have a copy of her visa from immigration that has her birthdate on it and Einstein says nope not even going to look at it. Einstein says he’s the manager. His wife comes out and looks at it and suggests that they take a copy of it and Hold onto it. That solves the problem if the liquor licensing board was to come and ask questions about this 25 year old girl. Einstein refuses because he’s set his position and marked his authority and proven that he is a truely small stupid man. I feel sorry for Einstein’s wife... poor women! Einstein suggests we go all the way back to Rowville to get the original passport and return with it. I’m sure that if we had done this Einstein would have said how do I know the passport is real.
Thank you Einstein for showing this young lady her first experience of Melbourne’s nightlife..
Thank you for making the other young lady who driven us to your venue with her 4 year old daughter in the back of the car and who had dropped us off for our friends birthday. Thank you for making her have to turn around and come back to pick us up.
And thank you for not letting four of my friends birthday party guests attend.

If they are with their parents nothing is related with if the venue offers food service or not. I bought tickets for my two sons for Queen tribute gig tonight as I know the law. Sadly, they didn't know the law and didn't get them in. The man at the entrence was very rude even one my boys was scared and stepped back. Although I showed the law to that man, he told me there is no law, it is common sense. He just thinks common sense is stronger than a law. Also, he refused to refund the ticket fee, after we insisted a lady came and paid us back. We were just trying to support local and make my 14 and 16 years old sons to listen some quality Queen songs. Two heart-broken boys. The man at the entrence told me that they don't serve any food that is the difference between them and other licenced places. Firstly, it is wrong, secondly they offer...
