Bamboo Plants — Local services in Melbourne

I was told about Andrew’s bamboo sales by a workmate. Unfortunately, I had already bought 3 bamboo plants from another nursery in Campbellfield, which were spindly, dry and overpriced. I spent a month wrangling with the owner to get my money back. On the other hand Andrew’s plants are lush, thick and have double the amount (and thickness) of culms. Don’t be fooled by the old street view picture on Google. This place is amazing! The moment you walk into this garden you think you are in Bali. You will be completely surrounded by the most amazing bamboo and you will be greeted by a wonderful couple who have taken customer service to a new level. They care for the bamboo plants with so much love, so needless to say that you will be buying an excellent product. We are over the moon with our new plant and we will be coming back for more. I contacted Andrew, whom I've known for a while as I needed some screening plants for a development that has just been completed. His recommendation was for the Gracilis, a variety which is non invasive and non spreading. At a slightly additional cost he was able to deliver ten very healthy and mature plants proceeding to also assist with their planting. The Gracilis look fantastic against a dark grey hue fence and provide excellent screening. Refreshing to find someone who still values old fashioned service...
