Omg, the way the sour faced lady owner treated my 74 year old dad is more then appalling! He explained to me that he was waiting in the queue behind 2 lovely young ladies and saw a drink he wanted to get near the entrance and walked pass the owner/cashier to get it and was proceeding back to stand in the queue behind the 2 ladies when the 2 ladies told him it was fine and that he could go first. Probably unbeknown to the owner, as she would not have any idea of what courtesy/respect/kindness etc means, she spoke loudly and pointed her finger to my dad to go to the back of the queue, even after he explained that the ladies asked him to go first. My dad got a shock that people like these still exist in this civilised world and especially in Australia as he has just arrived back from living overseas for 6 years. He decided to slam the drinks on the counter and walked out without saying anything. Luckily for the owner I wasn’t there or else I would’ve slammed more then the drink! This is a note to the children of the owners, who are the total opposite and polite and helpful, if you’re reading this please inform your parents that’s no way to run a business, disrespectful and unkindness is no way to treat a customer or any human for that matter, especially to the elderly, which they are as well, which is why I’m surprised at their behaviour towards another elderly person. Just because you have a business and money doesn’t make you better or more entitled to anyone else. Learn to have some compassion. I’ve been a customer of this store for many years and have been accustomed to the unhappy and moody non friendly service from the old owners but after this incident with my dad I’m no longer a customer. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere as you’re not the only Asian grocery...
Read moreHorrendous service. Am here once a week to shop for groceries but you can permanently bid "goodbye" to us as your customers. Just upon entering the store, my baby was happy seeing her favourite snack and was laughing happily. The old uncle, right next to the entrance at the counter, probably feeling vexed doing accounts, pulling a long face shouted at my daughter in Mandarin , "Oi, don't shout and make noise, " and glared at my toddler angrily. What kind of uncivilized and mean individual would treat a 2 year old in this manner? Don't show your anger to your customers when you have issues of your own. The shop reeked of urine during another seperate visit. Honestly don't even think you care about what your customers think as well. Doesn't matter if your store stock a greater variety of oriental goods if there is no emphasis placed on good customers service. Not going to spend a few hundreds at your store every week when you don't appreciate your clients. You don't deserve...
Read moreAn absolute disgusting customer service. went there with my autistic son. As soon as we came in he immediately spotted his favourite 'yan-yan'. Due to the many people in the shop, i ended up far behind him. He then started climbing on the first shelf to reach the middle shelf when the shop attendant (middle aged short man) shouted at him and murmured something i couldn't understand.. I then told him my son is autistic and he should watch his tone.. he then turned to me and in a shouting tone said i should watch my son. Considerably so, i am responsible for my chidren and is on the watch at all times but when you're grocery shopping, it can't be helped when they go off inside the shop. This man, needs to learn some manners. Utterly disgusting. He even started smashing the shopping basket as we were going out. Abominable act for someone in customer service. I hope he learns some manners which is clearly not taught...
