Port Stephens Community Arts Centre — Attraction in Nelson Bay

A large, varied and inviting collection of well priced locally made handicrafts (think painting, pottery, leather, glass, quilting, cards and many others). A little off the beaten path, but well worth a visit (we browsed for 45 minutes). Well worth a tad more time to wander through the adjacent garden. Parking is not a problem. Went to look at a bonsai display and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely the gardens and staff members where. Lots of nice art for sale including paintings, mosaics, pottery and various hand made craft items. The most fantastic selection of art and crafts! I have purchased the most unique jewellery and cutest knitted tea cozy with strawberries 🍓 and flowers. The volunteers are ever so helpful and welcoming! It’s definitely a place I will be visiting often! That can be a little dangerous 🤣 Look forward to signing on to do some of the classes.
