To start the food was amazing ! The pineapple and mint juice too, the coffee was ok, there were a few set backs, we were not offer any special ( which we overheard the waitress saying to another table and it actually sounded great ) we finished our water, and when our food arrived we asked for a second one but never received, the cafe was quite busy so I understand the long wait for food and drink, not once we were offered to check in for COVID, there was only one QR code displayed at the counter which asked to check in before dining, but not once we were offered to check in ! Overall the experience could be better, so I’ll be back to try it again !

Had a great experience here this past week. Good food, good coffee, exceptional service. Our coffee orders got lost in the shuffle and at least three employees apologized profusely for it despite us not being in a particular rush. Our server, Shaun, was incredibly accommodating and perhaps the kindest cafe employee I’ve ever encountered. We had our infant daughter with us and everyone was very accommodating of all our needs. Also the food was great!!

Cruised in off the street on our first visit to the area (new sunshine beach residents). Love the menu options, great service and appreciated talking shop with Heidi, the passionate owner. Enjoyed a bottle of Chardonnay with Eggs Benedict. Perfectly poached eggs and made from scratch hollandaise. If you’re going to have this dish on the menu- I think these are prerequisites :) Thanks for a perfect family morning out. Much respect

Rarely do I write a negative review however I feel obliged to warn others of the lack of customer service and quality of food.

Upon our arrival at around 10:20 AM 18/7 we were placed at the bar-stools as we had no reservation. It took over 15 minutes for any service staff to come to us and enquiry what we may like to order. We subsequently wanted to order a 'Magneto' however with confusion occurring with the service staff we ordered a latte, juice, banana bread and BLAT.

It took over 10 minutes to receive the juice and coffee with unfortunately the coffee seemingly burned and within a short period becoming cold.

Food took over 40 minutes from the time of order despite both of us looking at the staff on multiple occasions. Finally the BLAT came out first with information provided by staff that banana bread will 'come soon'.

No mention nor delivery of water occurred at the beginning or throughout the service until we had to ask for it ourselves. The BLAT was at best 'okay' and the banana bread was lacking in texture and quality with no additional condiments provided. As a very small and seemingly insignificant positive the Apple/Mint Juice was nice.

I cannot comprehend how a BLAT would take less time to be made then a banana bread as it was delivered first and it seemed that the waitresses were speaking to themselves and not checking on guests.

If we would have received information of the delay we could have decided to not wait any longer and have gone to another cafe. It felt as though we were insignificant and hence were not informed.

Concluding the meal we were asked how it was and both of us seemingly looked at one another in disbelief as we both knew what to say however felt we would potentially say too much and above all else that nothing would change. I did advise that it was 'not bad and okay' however no follow up enquiry occurred with disbelief of the service staff when this was mentioned.

Service seemed unorganised (waitresses always checked around where to deliver the coffee's) presuming no table numbers and upon payment (questions were asked what was ordered and how was the service).

Now checking the reviews it has forced me to write the above review as I am even more disappointed by the service provided by Esco Cafe.

Even the most basic of service was not provided and hence the below feeling towards Esco Cafe & Restaurant

Felt insignificant due to not having a booking No basic service provided (water?) No communication whatsoever (Delay has occurred we apologise) Over-priced for tasteless/bland food No responsibility taken for the above (no apology, no realisation)

Already it was the worst breakfast experience and now reading the reviews I am very disappointed and not only will not return but will actively not recommend and advise acquaintances and friends to avoid if visiting Noosa.

To Esco Cafe & Restaurant even realising now that this is a restaurant is a disappointment especially knowing that top end restaurants that we attended have a lower review then yourselves. One questions how many of the reviews have legitimacy.

Thank you for causing a disappointing avoidable experience that dampened the following hour of our...

I met some friends at Esco recently. It is the first time I've eaten here. My meal was very nice, well presented and I did not have to wait too long. Things turned south when one of my group went to pay and was stung an obscene amount of money for her vegan breakfast and a coffee. She would have been better off ordering the vegetarian BIG breakfast for $22 and asking for no eggs or haloumi. Instead they charged her per side or item (1 pce gluten free toast plus the items from VBB excluding eggs and cheese, bringing the cost to nearly $40). When questioned about the cost, the staff (owner) stated that sides had been ordered. The owner could not or would not consider how silly it was to charge $40 for a meal that contained less ingredients and would have been no more difficult to prepare than the $22...
