Every time we drive to Noosa from Brisbane, we eat here. No thai food in Brisbane can compare (Dodee Boran is good but their value and flavour in Tuk Tuk Thai is uncomparable). I hope they maintain their standards and portion size! Tuk tuk thai's Tom Kha soup is amazing! It is a gastronomical experience of flavours. The Pad Thai with prawns is the best in the whole of Australia that I've tried so far. I've had plenty of Thai food all throughout Southeast Asia(and I am asian myself), but this tiny stall in Noosa sells the best Pad Thai ever! The noodles are so chewy, and the sauce is delicious. I'm a Pad Kee Mao girlie, but only in this restaurant, i would order a Pad Thai instead. That being said, their Pad Kee Mao is amazing too! But ask for Thai Spicy. It is so yummy! Notable mentions are the Soft shell crab and the Noosa pork belly! Their portions here are so huge for its price. Guaranteed a full meal! Also, I once came with 9 friends and 1 of them had peanut and shellfish allergies. The kitchen was mindful to serve all the non-seafood and peanut dishes first to my friend before serving the regular ones to my side of the table. MUST ORDER: -Pad Thai with Prawns (get some chilli flakes from the ordering counter to sprinkle for best flavour) -Tom Kha soup (works best with chicken or seafood) -Soft Shell crab -Noosa Crispy Pork Belly -Pad Kee Mao (order thai spicy for the best burning sensation if you are asian)

Only after we paid for the takeaway food did they inform us that it would be a 30 minute wait. Because there was nowhere to sit and wait, we had to go kill time elsewhere meantime. When we checked up on the order almost 30 minutes later they informed us that they had “run out of chicken” and could only offer beef or pork for our order. I turned around and saw the party who came and ordered after us had what appeared to be a plate of chicken. At no point did they verbally apologize for any of this, nor did they seem apologetic at all. In fact, it seemed funny to one of the staff when she inquired what was going on. Highly unprofessional, disorganized place with no accountability. I don’t recommend coming here.

Fantastic Thai especially for takeaway but we ate in and was great we reserved a table an hour before for 6 pax as it’s predominantly a take away joint but we were not disappointed with the quality of food. Soo fresh and delicious, we couldn’t fault our dinner. Duck on Noosa $25.90 was delicious and not spicy as was the Kaa Na Moo Khob $20.90 very mild. Then the Panang Beef $18.90 Curry had some lovely gentle heat. Then the Pad Kee Mao Chicken $18.90 had that beautiful chilli basil spiciness. The Soft Shell Crab Chilli Basil $25.90 was the spiciest of them all and fabulous but you knew you’d pay for it later. So awesome and friendly quick service, thank you we will be back!

Always, but ALWAYS, call into Tuktuk when we're in the area, never been disappointed-----except for today! Had our usual, Pad Thai and a Panang curry, service was great, water brought out, chef was a happy chappie, waitress brought out the food and we were astounded! The meals were like a third of the normal lunch meal, the price hasn't gone down but the size has diminished to a snack size! We even travel up from Bribie Island when we have visitors from overseas just to sample Tuktuk, not any more unless the meal size gets back to what it was. I realise everyone is suffering financially these days, but to keep your customers happy give them a full sized meal like it used to be! Returned to tuk tuk yesterday, food was good, size was very good but the pad thai wasn't the same as before, maybe a new owners recipe, just not the same, panang curry was every bit as good as before! Rating now is staff excellent, meal size very good, prices good, but, it's just different, maybe to used to old owners, so saying, I'll still be definitely visiting each and every time we visit noosa, good on the new owners and staff for being concerned enough to reply to my...
