If you go onto the computers on the ground floor it can be like a homeless shelter. You get a lot of strange vagrant types. Some of them really stink and/or get offensive if you look at them. There is the odd psychotic one every so often. You have to avoid them or they do things like go outside and move your bicycle around on the rack, or damage the bike. There are people who seem to live there. Every time you go there they are there. They might need to put limits on the Internet use so that they can move some of the nasties on somewhere else. For instance there is one homeless man who goes through the bins in the city and Cultural Centre and then he goes into the library and uses the computers. He often changes from one to another talking to himself. People have their fingers in their mouths, or eat and leave sticky stuff on the keyboard. You get people with no concept of hygiene. Supermarkets have wipes that you can use to clean the trolley handle. For the sake of public health the library really needs to provide wipes too so people can wipe and disinfect the keyboards on the computers.
