Russell Square — Attraction in Northbridge

Amazing when fringe is on, wish City Of Perth kept it like that continually or at least once a month.

When there isn't a festival on Russell Square provides MMA fights without the talent on most Friday and Saturday nights.

Mon - Fri during the day is comedy central, the yelling and abuse from locals is always funny and sure to make you smile.

On occasion you'll hear people yell when they see the "white dog" in Russell square. I've never seen it myself but I heard others yell frequently with excitement as I've been walking through there.

The park is fairly well maintained. The trees and grass are well kept. There is ample seating and bins to place rubbish. However, the central water/gazebo feature is in dire need of a clean and repair. The water in the different sections is mouldy and full of rubbish. Russell square is a becon for events of any sort it's better know for fringe festival which occurs every year when there are not events on its a quiet relaxing place. On a side note homeless people and sketchy people like to hang around the park day to day but ther won't bother you too much except for the occasional shouting and yelling but otherwise Russell square is a wonderful place to go...
