Up in Perth for a conference, we decided to take a walk and look for a place to have dinner, and just happened to stumble across this little gem. Though a Monday night, they were doing a steady trade. Met at the door very pleasantly and asked if they would have room for 2 walk ins. They said yes but informed us that there was currently an half hour wait. This was fine with us so they organised a table for us. We were quickly seated and water was poured straight away. After about 2 minutes the waitstaff came round to see if we were ready to order. Still looking through the menu, we asked if we could get some drinks first. Before our drinks arrived, another waitperson came and asked if we were ready to order. We started with the El Trio (three little tasters of beef, prawn and pork) as entree until we could decide what to have for mains. Drinks arrived and then we ordered the Gran Sabana, which then gave us a nice selection of the fare available. Love the way the food came out In presentation. The assortment of food was fantastic. Ordered our rump medium rare. One slice perfectly cooked, the other slightly on the rare side, but more than acceptable and we didn’t bother to ask for it to be cooked more. Pork belly was incredible, black pudding good when mix with other items on the plate, and the congri was out of this world. Left rolling out the door. While our experience was lovely, would love to have been asked if we would like more than just 1 drink, and offered dessert at the end of the night - good chance we would have said no to dessert, but you never know how you feel, and now looking at their dessert menu online, would have loved to have tried the Death by Chocolate cocktail. Maybe next time. Overall a good dining experience.

Had a fantastic 'date night' with the wifey at this truly unique little restaurant. I can't remember or pronounce the names of the stuff we had - but it was damn good! FOOD: The flavor was awesome. The meat was tender and delicious. The fusion of flavors was really unique. The portion sizes were perfect. We left the restaurant satisfied, but not bloated. AMBIENCE: It felt really authentic South American. Even the music selection contributed to the vibe. The staff were also South American which added to the flair of the place. SERVICE: Really good service. The servers were really friendly, and super knowledgeable about all the dishes on the menu. Our server really took time to explain the difference between all the options. PRICE: Not cheap. But also not too expensive. The food items are reasonably priced. They offer a lot of cocktails - and they ARE really expensive! But as long as you don't go overboard on the alcohol, the night shouldn't set you back an arm and a leg. AVAILABILITY: I suggest you book ahead of time, because the place was full on Friday night. There is a steep online booking fee (which you will lose if you don't rock up or cancel), but who would want to cancel? ... This little place is awesome!

I had been here a couple of times before 2020 and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. So when visiting Perth over the weekend walking aimlessly around trying to find somewhere to eat for Saturday lunch we ended up here asked if we could have a table for two as walk ins and was greeted with a very friendly smile seated and served water promptly We were given some help to order as it all looked delicious I ended up with the cachapa with tender juicy smoked hickory steak avocado tomato and a lovely kick with the aioli hubby’s dish was huge we were shocked with the size of our meals (no room for dinner that evening ) I ordered a non alcoholic Pina Colada & it was the BEST EVER !! Wow 🤩 Thank you for a wonderful dinning experience will definitely be back when in Perth next.

The first thing you need to know: You must book before arriving. But if you don’t, they will not offer it to you, even though you see people leaving the tables. Then you go online and book yourself a table for 15 min later. A pretty annoying and also inconvenient as it asks for card verification. Other than this, it is a perfect food, with very good portions for the arepas and cachapas and, a variety of sides including corn and cassava. There is a huge menu with Latin drinks like caipirinha and pisco, variety of beer and wine too. I would rate it 5 stars if I didn’t have to book it literally in front of the restaurant. Also, cozy location.

It was my genuine belief that the USA wanted to install a puppet dictator in Venezuela because of all the oil. It's the USA right. We know how they roll. But having eaten at Angel Falls, I can confidently say, the nation that has cheese in a toothpaste tube, genuinely wants to learn how to cook meat... ... properly. Ashley, bubblier that a cheeky French sparkling, guided us through the curiosity unfamiliar menu. We settled on the Araguaney share plate. Do this. It's fabulous. Ask for the steak rare. Angel Falls cuts are good enough for this. Volveremos

We went on Friday to celebrate my fiancée’s birthday, and from the moment we entered the restaurant it was very charming with Latin music playing in the background and a warm welcome from the manager. The service was great (very friendly), we didn’t know what to order and they very kindly explained the menu to us, we decided on the “feed me” option which my partner and I really recommend. It was delicious and very well prepared, and the giant cocktail (mojito) was so refreshing and perfect for us to share. Definitely worth checking out.
