Very impressive with the project area near completion now Jan 2020.Lots of eateries and bars . Visually excellent worth a look. I went for 1st look at night so lighting made it quite site to see very well done . I walked from Kings Sqaure end close to RAC Arena . So where old entertainment centre used to be . New office buildings in amongst it all with eateries underneath.Small grassed areas with bronze strapping type statues and mood lights shining up into them . Walking east in between infrastructure and where there used to be railway lines which are now underground. Passing new city busport onto Yagan Square . It is inside the loop curve of the William St horseshoe bridge fantastic structure interesting shapes and materials used to step up varying levels also accessible via lift to mini water park and childrens playground with a outdoor shower up there . Several viewing platform areas . Water feature like a stream and fountain at the end underneath. Worth a look at night or day . Saturday night very busy with people as Fringe World festival carnival on within area added to the lighting effects with merry go rounds, and live...

Stories at Yagan Square The team at NOKTURNL have done it again! Stories in Yagan Square is Perth's newest entertainment mecca, following their brilliant achievements of The Old Synagogue, The Beaufort and South Perth’s The Station.

This unique venue showcases - 🔥 5 floors to explore 🥂 9 bars including a rooftop bar 🍽 3 restaurants 🍸 a hidden speakeasy 💃 a massive open air dancefloor 🍺 Perth's largest beer garden, Stories front yard, complete with children's playground

So many phenomenal spaces to enjoy. We loved the atmosphere of the Pourhouse and shared a mouthwatering Funghi pizza. The Only Pavs cocktail featuring @oldyoungsdistillery Pavlova Vodka was simply scrumptious.

We went in search of the hidden Fat Controller speakeasy. Wow what a clever salute to the adjoining Perth central train station! The train related cocktails are superb and distinctive, especially the rum based, Train to Busan. 🚃

Stories is set to be Perth's largest venue with a capacity of 2500+ connecting Perth and Northbridge. Welcoming local artists, DJs and live music, Stories is the hottest venue like no...

Frankly I'd like to start by addressing the whinging one star reviewers on here. You guys are a pack of useless miserable morons.

What was once a completely dead part of the city has been made into a nice new place. It links the city and Northridge beautifully, but all you lot can do is complain about the cost of food.

It's Perth. Everything is expensive. It's not just Yagan Square. Is every business trying to afford rent here meant to offer dirt cheap food just for you cheapskates? Do us all a favor and keep your one star nonsense to yourselves.

Now to my actual review.

Yagan square is a very welcome addition to Perth. Walking through there it genuinely feels new. Not just because everything is still shiny, but because it's nicely designed and feels fresh.

I especially like the fact that you can be here at night, and not feel like you're about to be stabbed. It's spacious and well lit.

I look forward to seeing the rest of the area developed, as the empty lots as they are bringing the area down a...

Took a walk around the place. It's an amazing place to just sit and relax ,maybe read a book. There's a lot of outdoor space where people can simply sit down and watch the world go by. Well positioned between the bus stand and railway station and very close to Northbridge. Market Hall provides some eatery options and they are definitely not the usual ones at a food court. All of them are quite niche sort of eateries and pubs. Haven't had any food yet from here - but will edit this post once I try some of the eateries. The Hawaii one looks fresh and promising. The concept is quite clear here - provide ample space at the center of the city where people can simply sit, stand or lie-down and spend time doing nothing. Oh, and there's an amphitheater for events and a small kids play area at the top. You can enter the area through the horse shoe bridge as well, apart from railway station, bus port, North bridge, Wellington st...

This is a place of many faces! They've done it up really well, and the christmas lights are amazing at the moment. Some days and nights it's really good to walk around and explore, other times you get a lot of crime and police issues. It's the luck of the draw with this area. If you are planning to walk through here on a Friday or Saturday night, have your wits about you and keep your bag close. If you have to walk through here during the day for work, you may get some verbal thrown at you. Then there are times when they get amazing attractions in and the whole area is lit up and welcoming. Those times are fantastic 🥳 The police have stepped up to make this area more safe, but you can't win them all. It's a start! This really is a luck of the draw place where you roll the dice on what you get to experience!
