Amazing place nice and cheap for what u are getting. The view in the clock tower is amazing but little scary to climb up to it. Some of the things they have there are so cool like an old steam train and a bunch of horse carriages. The two things I didn’t like one was the birds there was an open place like a courtyard but without access but there was a dead bird and a bunch of nesting pigeons in there which tbh I think they should block the access or at-least cover the window so u can’t see Into. Second thing is the cleanliness of the exhibits the place is clean but there was so much dust on some the things in the Display cases. Also no card it is cash only but...

Vicki gave us great insights into the history of the area including products being shipped through the port and the relevant train track gauges etc. She even gave us a mission to find the other 4 steam engines identical to the "Port Pirie". Fred shared some fascinating anecdotes & stories from his 40 years working on the railway. Well worth a visit....
