Had a great experience at iFly this evening! The evening slot we had was full of pros learning tricks - slightly intimidating for us first timers, but also such a fun vibe! I'm glad that I paid the extra for the high fly because that's where the adrenaline rush comes in! This part alone convinced me to pay another $35 for an extra flight with the high fly! The helmet with visor was definitely a good choice (although slightly annoying that it's an extra price at all). The wind tunnel is more than you expect, so I'd highly recommend making sure you use the visor! (even with the added fee). They provide you with noise cancelling ear buds to protect your ears whilst in the wind tunnel. This made for great laughs when we tested that they worked and couldn't hear each other talk (whilst everyone else probably heard us shouting at each other 😂). The paid photos were slightly disappointing. For the price paid on top ($10), I was expecting more than four photos. They also only have the photos from one of my flights, not the two flights booked (one person). It was also frustrating because when booking I assumed that the additional photo fee I paid covered the cost of both flyers in the double paid booking (kickstart 2). The video was good in capturing both flights (only one flyer). The high fly is slightly cut off in the height on the tunnel too. The media came quickly though, and by the time I was home, I had received the email link. Overall, the service was great! Staff were friendly and made for a great night out! My son and I were given as a gift, a package deal from groupon, which included two flights each with video & photos. Now the experience and instructor on the day was wonderful, but the problem is that he did not tell us that the camera was not working, so when we did not receive the photos I contacted iFly ( we did receive the videos). I was informed that the camera had not been working for a while and I explained that if we had known, we could have used our own phone to take some photos. I was contacted by a Duty Supervisor to discuss may complaint and was informed that as we had bought a package deal, the photos were complimentary (no where does it mention complimentary and this does not align with the definition of a package deal, which how it is was advertised). Their solution was to offer a 15% discount to fly again to get the photos that we had already paid for (what a joke!!). I asked for the matter to be escalated to a Manager and have been waiting 3 days for a call (looks like I will probably not get one). I suggested that they give us two flights (to be shared between my son and I) so photos can be taken and provided to us. This is a simple way to resolve this matter, but was told that is not an option. My advice to consumers is to always check with the company that the camera and video are working (if you have purchased the media) and to discuss options, as the service you will receive after the fact will get you no-where if you are...

I bought a voucher 6 months ago and before it was set to expire this operator called to book me in so I didn't loose out on my time I had already paid for to ensure I spent time in the wind tunnel. Not only that but to add a spanner in the works I had an important issue come up a couple days before my booked session and the same operator made it a priority to reschedule a later date to double down and re-ensure I didn't miss out on a fun time. Very grateful that there was no "sorry mate we cant do that" attitude and instead of ending it there he made sure to get me in - he was very understanding. The flying experience is quite stream-lined and they get you in and out quite fast however if you show them you are capable of following instructions while you're flying they will reward your efforts and progress your skills to take the experience to the next level. I've been to iFly in perth a few times now and if the customer service wasn't great I would not have returned. The flying time is brief and it is expensive but I don't drink so this is well worth the time and money. All ages can do it too, I've seen kids barely as tall as a grasshopper do it like a natural - if you're on the fence and not sure if it's worth the price tag let this review be proof that you...
