I recently ordered takeaway from Il Locale Pizza to satisfy my pizza cravings. This pizzeria offers unique and hand-made woodfired pizzas that truly stand out from the usual options.

Ordered the Tamara and burrata pizza for takeaway. They advised us that the pizza will be done at 4:30pm as their oven was not working and when we got there to pick it up, we got told to wait another 10 minutes. Walked back into the restaurant 10 minutes later and was told by one of the pizza guys it will be another 5 minutes with no apology. 5 minutes later walked back in and was still waiting for our pizza for another 10 minutes while other people that ordered after us received their pizza first. Their timing and customer service is terrible. Honestly was expecting a lot more with the pizzas from the reviews and pricing but pizza had too much tomato sauce and all the toppings were just falling off from the pizza from being too soggy. Would not be coming back. Food 1/10, customer service 1/10.

Reply: FYI It was Saturday afternoon, and I placed the order at 4pm so you didn’t just ‘waste a few minutes of my afternoon’ as my order was completed at 4:50pm! Yes I understand that your oven was not working hence the delay of getting told it will be done at 4:30pm, however my order was completed at 4:50pm which is ridiculous because I was told 10 minutes then 5 more minutes then it ended up being 50 minutes in total I had to wait. I also do not recall you offering free soft drink as an apology so please get your words right. Terrible terrible terrible how you can lie on here to make yourselves look accountable! Definitely not the best...
