Shepparton Club — Restaurant in Victoria

The food was DELICIOUS!!! Went to The Shepparton Club for a work lunch with 2 guests. I ordered 2 serves of the cheesy bacon & jalapeno bread for starters. Then for our main courses... I ordered the garlic prawns entree and it was cooked to perfection!!! The dish was the perfect sized portion for me because I've had a gastric bypass therefore can't eat alot. But this was filling and I enjoyed it so much!!! 1 of my lunch guests ordered the smoky pork belly with vegetables and mashed potato & made short work of his meal so I take that he loved it too!!! The other guest ordered the grilled chicken breast with vegetables & couldn't finish her meal as it was very filling so she asked for a "doggy-bag" to take it home. Welcoming staff and excellent service. Very appreciative of the careful consideration given to the position of our allocated table in response to a request made at the time of booking. We had plenty of space in a quiet area to accommodate the needs of the two 90+ year olds in our family group of 6 adults plus toddler. There were plenty of menu options to suit the dietary needs and preferences of the oldest to the youngest. Food arrived promptly and was obviously freshly cooked. We came here for the first time and there were only a couple of patrons there in the dining area we ordered our dinner and an hour later only one of our guests had gotten his meal they had lost the order then couldn’t give the meal to another one of our guests because the ingredients were pre made and we asked about where our meal was and the staff had to ask again what we ordered then the girl said she would bring complimentary bread out to us this didn’t happen either. I ordered a gf meal and had an adverse reaction through the night. Won’t come back again sorry . Prices are expensive for what we got you pay $30 in Melbourne at a top end...
