I wasn’t going to do this, however this is beyond a joke. I go to this store once a week/fortnight for hot chips. On one instance I was accused of leaving a negative review, and spoken down to by the owner. When I explained that I had not left a bad review, I was told I was lying and the owner walked away to get “proof” muttering under her breath. After this, I began ordering through my partners details and had no issues with our order or picking up. Tonight I attempted to order chips to go with our dinner, and received an email 25 minutes later saying our order was cancelled and refunded. When I called the store to find out why, I was asked “is this (first and last name)”. When I said it was (I ordered under a different variation of my name, not the name they said), I was told to wait while she got her boss. I heard in the background the boss say “Don’t serve her”, and when the girl returned to the phone, told me “There has been an issue with our online ordering system so everyone had been refunded” When I asked why it took 25 minutes for this to occur, when my order was due to be ready about 5 minutes later, I was told there was nothing she could do. No offer for me to come down and grab them and pay when I picked up. This is absolutely disgusting service, and we will not be returning. horrid attitude from the staff over the phone. got hung up on when ordering my food and also told that “they don’t have tomato sauce”. also told they won’t serve before the close time on their website apparently so if you want a meal, get there at 7.30 at the latest or at least 2 hours before because they’ll probably tell you at 7pm that they’re closing in 10 mins. cheese is also apparently too overwhelming to put on a burger. the girl closing out front had extremely slappy feet as she stomped past us, the old man also giving us evil eyes and pointing at us. we could hear them having a screaming match from the dining room which was very awkward for us customers of this establishment. Holey moley! I went in there for lunch just to grab some chips because I was craving them, $4 for a small, okay was thinking that’ll feed me, nope! It feeds like 3 - 4 people! I couldn’t believe the value and amount you got for $4!! Chips are great quality and I purchased some extra chicken salt, I love chicken salt and always use all of it, I couldn’t even use it all there was so much!
