I honestly attempted to go to this cafe for a week as I had a coffee card here, every coffee my friend and I got was honestly in the nicest way possible, terrible. There is no consistency, it either comes out burnt or bitter or not adding sweetener or too watery and not to mention twice they gave me cows milk when I ordered an oat latte, ive been ordering that for 10 years I don’t get my order incorrect. It’s a shame because the lady who owns this is lovely, she was so polite coming and introducing herself but her partner?/friend? Is the weirdest customer service I’ve probably encountered in my near 30 years on this planet, gives me the vibe he doesn’t even like customers. Such odd behaviour? And when I came in to claim my free coffee on my card.. he said he would only take a few dollars off? I’m sorry but it literally says free coffee, what in tarnation. This used to be a good coffee shop, with great quality coffee but honestly give this one a massive skip, you’ve got Ari across the road who makes the best coffee, bite size bliss around the corner and banksia across from Woolworths are hundreds times better and such wholesome customer service. I hope this places improves or gets owners that actually know how...
Read moreWe ordered beef salad and it was just okay. Beef was a bit chewy…but that’s not the main point.
It was 36 degrees C outside and we were served plain water. The least they could have served cold water to their customers which is common in many places. But I think it was their trick so customers can buy cold drinks.
I understand about ‘vanishing salt from the table’ story but that only applies when the food is cooked to perfection which some Chefs in the World take pride in and hence don’t offer salt and pepper on the table. But here, it wasn’t the case. Firstly we asked if we needed salt and pepper. That means it was offered to us. When we said, keep it on the table just in case, the pepper was served in an old wooden shaker and salt was in a tiny plate.
When pointed out, we were told that the owner likes it that way!
At that time the restaurant was empty and we were the only customer. Cashier charged us for extra dish which we didn’t order but quickly apologised and rectified the error. Was told to us she assumed that we had the extra dish. That shows no communication between waiter and cashier! Sorry Nambour...

Did my usual Google search for good reviews and Nambour Social appeared as the closest in proximity, but more importantly looked great and great coffee review. From when we walked in to when we left, staff were very friendly. My husband chose the Brekky wrap and I ordered the ham and cheese croissant from the cabinet with a cappuccino each. Beautiful coffee and food was delicious. The chef even delivered our meals to our table. 👍👍 The freshly baked muffins looked and smelt amazing on the counter so decided to grab one of these for the road on the way to Maryborough then Hervey Bay for a few days. Thankfully the beautiful young lady reminded me about collecting my muffin on the way out!!! Look forward to hopefully stopping in again on the way home to Brissie to get another fix of Nambour Social, maybe even another coffee and muffin to go!! All the best Nambour...
