Apex Park — Attraction in Sydney

Visited this park for an Australia Day BBQ. We used the in-built council BBQs, but only one of the two cooktops were working in our BBQ area, so we had to share this with some friendly half naked Brazilians. There are other BBQ areas in the park, but they weren't near where we had set up our stuff.

Good park for kids 3yrs to 10yrs. Playground equipment is covered with a shade sail. It's across the road from the beach, so we popped over for a swim too.

Parking is expensive. Pay and display. We paid $40 which is the maximum, or it's $10 per hour. This is the street council managed parking between the beach and the park, so a super convenient place to park. I saw a heap of cars closest to the beach open their rear and set up a picnic capturing lovely...

A great park for the kids opposite Mona Vale beach. Highly recommended.

The equipment is good with a rubber floor and sail shades.

There are barbeque facilities with picnic tables.

Alongside is a bike/scooter track for the kids, with more barbeques and picnic tables.

The car park alongside is paid parking, unless you have a Northern Beaches Council resident sticker. However, there is free parking in the surrounding streets.

Lovely park that caters to all age groups. The equipment is covered by shade clothes. Lovely scooter/bike track right next to equipment. There is a BBQ area, benches and their a few trees for picnics. Bathrooms available. Cafes within walking distance and ample parking. Pram and wheel chair accessible. Directly opposite Mona Vale beach so a great spot to have lunch...
