If you are looking for the best coffee in Mona Vale, it is hard to go past the institution that is Coffee Brothers. Headed up by the oh so passionate Tony Macri, Coffee Brothers has a lot to be proud of, and without a doubt it is a local favourite.
While the coffee here is certainly at a higher than average level, and made by passionate people, I tend to find that it is a little over roasted for my taste. That could be both because that is what the locals prefer, or indeed, what the roaster at Coffee Brothers prefers, but either way, it is generally a little to aggressive.
That aside, with the friendly service, the occasional guest roast, and the generous opening hours, this is likely going to be one of your best bets in Mona Vale.

To maintain this high standard for so many years in the shifting sands of Sydney's cafe scene is not easy, so congrats to the team at Coffee Brothers. When people ask me why I cycle 30 km for a cup of coffee, I encourage them to try it for themselves. Not even the 20 ridiculous speed humps in bayside (and consequently two lost water bottles) have stopped us visiting. Their Covid protocols have been spot on from day one too. Keep up...
