Modus Brewing — Restaurant in Sydney

It was schoolmate Kirk's birthday last Tuesday and I found out about it at sailing on Monday night, so fellow crew mate and I agreed to head on up to Mona to join Kirk at Modus for lunch! 🍺🍔🍺⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ It's an amazing brewery in the industrial area behind Coles, I fell in love with their Modus Haze - so tasty!! Burger is The M.O. Burger pretty much doubled and it was the best burger I have seen in years, it seriously was a work of art, and I was hoping it would be as tasty as it looked. I used to come every Friday night to have the burguer deal and meet friends here until today. I just came to have a good time and dinner with a friend and then when I went to order, the girl taking the orders said that we were smelling weed and that could not serve the deal and drinks to us. We were at another pub before to come here and we do not smoke. I bought the deal and ask a lemon lime bitters instead and the other staff always charge me the same price of the deal and this girl that said that we smoked charge me more because it was not a beer, I don’t drink alcohol and she said that even that could not serve drinks to us. Definitely never gonna come back after this episode. Thanks to charge more, and put people that been there so long away for a smelling wrong and define someone without even know then. I happy to do a blood test to show you that i definitely don’t smoke. This is a brewery with industrial size barrells brewing excellent craft beer, and then serving that equally excellent beer, in a backyard with logwood casual tables sort of setting. Its relaxed, fun and friendly, like a neighbourhood beachside shack should be. The Sunday we went had a live band and some kind of ball throwing game which was totally silly but super fun. There is upstairs seating where they serve food as well , and upon checking with regular punters were informed that is quiet delicious as well. The beer selection is definitely one of the best I have seen. Do try the tasting paddle and then make up your mind about which one of those awesome ones speak to you. Believe me they will! The only downside is that it is really far away making public transport almost non-existent, but there is plenty of parking available...
