We seem to end up at Camp Cove Beach on a Friday after work at least once a year. There’s something about its stunning Sydney skyline backdrop that helps to put a stressful week in the bin and reset you for the weekend.
Yes, parking is awful here, you’ve got to be either lucky or brave as @waverleycouncil have decided to only allow rich residents to park near the beach (who does that?), there’s no outdoor shower and the super-cute kiosk assumes you are as rich as most of the crowd seems to be. Read moreCamp Cove is a beautiful hidden beach near Watsons Bay, perfect for swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the calm waters of Sydney Harbour. The beach is small and peaceful, which makes it great for families and anyone looking for a quiet escape from the busy city. The water is usually calm and clear, ideal for snorkeling and paddling. There is also a small kiosk where you can grab snacks and drinks, which adds to the convenience. The views across the harbour are stunning, and the sunsets here are truly magical. It’s also close to Hornby Lighthouse and other walking tracks, so you can combine a visit to several scenic spots in one trip. Overall, Camp Cove is one of Sydney’s best little beaches – charming, relaxing, and full of...

There is a little stand where you can purchase towels and a few drinks. It really is a fabulous beach. The sticks were the only bummer.
Also, my husband was not exactly dressed for the beach! He looked like Johnny Cash in all black. ;) We were giggling at him. I wish I brought a suit because I really would have swam. But I dipped my feet in, and the water temp was a little chilly, which was perfectly refreshing...
