Date of visit 2024 Sep 04. Time of visit 12.30 pm to 1.00 pm. Overall 8.416/10. Food 10. Portion 10. Service 7. Indoor Ventilation 9. Ambience 7. Location: 7.5. Price AUD20 to AUD40/pax (include gst) for 1 adult male and 1 adult female. Expected meal time 0.5 to 1 hours.

Food Order: (1) Crying Tiger, (2) Whole Barramundi Sam Rod. Total AUD63.80 (menu price). They offered some discount for cash payments, but I cannot recall the percentage.

Food: My wife liked the beef, it was delicious, tender and sweet. The fish was cooked very well, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sweet chilli sauce was good, but the spiciness might be slightly sharp, hence I would have preferred if it were the sweet and slightly sour sauce. Nonetheless, it was a great dish.

Portion: The beef was adequate for my wife and the fish was quite large for me.

Service: Good and fast, while the restaurant seemed to be seated at around 25% capacity.

Indoor Ventilation: The temperature was cooling and comfortable, although the fans were not operating.

Ambience: The restaurant has a unique interior design which stands out with contrasting yellow and black. The lighting design looked simple yet elegant for the interior. The background music was okay and not too loud to allow normal conversation.

Location: It is located some distance away from Sydney Central Business District (about 0.5 hours car ride, 0.75 hours public transport) and about 0.75 hours car ride, 1 hours public transport from Sydney International Aiprort. There are a few...

We've gone there to get some dinner before watching the sunset in watsons Bay, but were highly disappointed. After having been at our table for 15-20 minutes without a waiter coming with tap water or to get our orders, she came after we walked up to her and asked her to please take our orders. After another 40 minutes, 3 of our 4 meals arrived, the fourth dish arrived another 10 minutes later.

In the vegetarian dish, I have found some meat after having eaten parts of it already (which is really unacceptable for me as I am actually a vegetarian!). After having returned the dish to the kitchen, we subsequently found some noodles in a rice dish, which completely eliminated any faith that dishes are prepared separately/ with separate tools - thus we have cancelled the vegetarian dish completely.

After we finished our dinner, we waited for another 15 minutes without anyone coming to take away our empty plates, we once again had to walk up to the counter and ask her to finally pay our bill.

Overall, we left the restaurant with one person not having had food at all, and due to the bad service and waiting times we had missed the sunset, too. Therefore cannot recommend this place at all! The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is that the other dishes tasted quite good, although the meat was not of amazing...

Good food, terrible service - male waiter amazing, so nice and thoughtful, feel bad for him, female worker terrible. We ordered a dish with tofu and it came with just vegetables and no tofu, when we asked them about the tofu they told us they ran out of tofu but don't worry they will still charge at the same amount as tofu dish for the pure vegetables, later in the night as we were leaving we noticed a table next to us who arrived well after us had tofu in their dish, they lied to us in broad daylight. They also brought us a dish that we did not order and then proceeded to tell us that they will just charge us half price for it however in the end they did not charge us but this place really needs a good manager to come in and clean the place up I should also mention all of the tables had been left dirty from past diners for...

I absolutely loved this Thai restaurant! We stumbled upon it by chance while visiting Watsons Bay, and it turned out to be a hidden gem. We sat outdoors, enjoying the stunning view and the beautiful sunshine—it truly made the experience even more special. The Choo Chee Soft Shell Crab was the standout dish for me—rich, aromatic, and bursting with authentic Thai curry flavor. We also ordered the Thai Beef Salad, Thai Fried Rice, Thai Fish Cakes, and Salt & Pepper Squid. Everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented. The beef in the salad was a little tough to chew, but still tasty overall. This is definitely a spot I’ll come back to the next time I visit Watsons Bay. Highly recommend for anyone craving delicious Thai food with a view!

The fried noodles had an awful fishy smell from the very first bite — it honestly felt like they didn’t even wash the wok before cooking. The soft-shell crab was extremely fishy too, and the duck had that same unpleasant odor. I was genuinely shocked by how bad it tasted. The curry soft-shell crab was also a mess — the curry wasn’t mixed properly, the sauce was watery like soup, and overall it just looked unappetizing. The lychee soda looked like it should come with lychees, but it arrived with none — not even the flavor. To make things worse, shortly after eating, I started feeling stomach pain and ended up with diarrhea. I’m honestly surprised this place is still running. Definitely not recommended.
