Robertson Park — Attraction in Sydney

Robertson Patk at Watson Bay is a beautiful and family friendly harbour waterside park with almost everything characteristic of tourist city, Sydney, surrounding it such as the beach, the spectacular ocean view, jagged cliff, fine restaurants, traditional seafood take away, children playground, coast walk, bush walking, scenic harbour public ferryride, the distance CBD view, harbour bridge view..... and you just name it.

The adjacent Gap Bluff park just across the street is a popular scenic spot both for loacl Sydneysiders and for overseas tourists with eye-poping and camera-conductive ocean views and breathtaking coast cliff views.

Like Robertson Park, Gap Bluff park also has disabled access to the half way towards cliff top with 3 good ocean-and-cliff lookouts, one in the middle, one further up at left and another up at right. ( Robertson Park has disabled toilet.)

The best way to get this place (Watson Bay) is to take a ferry (Ferry 7) at Circular Quay (Wharf 2). It is a 25 minutes harbour cruise with spectacular views all the way to your destination.

Located on Military Road, Watsons Bay, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is a great park right on the Sydney Harbour with stunning views all the way to the city. It leads from the steps up to the Gap Lookout down to the Watsons Bay Ferry ⛴️ Wharf. You can easily get here by public transportation ie the Ferry from Circular Quay or bus 🚌. When you get to the wharf, there’s a great walking track along the water. The park has ample seating located around it which is convenient if you wanted to bring a picnic lunch or get takeout from Doyles on the Wharf or Watson’s. There’s a great little children’s playground which is going to be getting an update soon. There’s also good toilet facilities. Even though it was overcast today, it was still a really nice park to visit. Would definitely recommend a visit....
