Gelatissimo Watsons Bay — Restaurant in Sydney

I have been there a couple of times during their business hours and they were closed. went there last Tuesday and waited 15 minutes to get served. One girl behind the counter and the other chatting on his mobile phone. When I finally got served and bought a milkshake the girl didn't know how to use my gift voucher....she tried to get help from the other service who continued to chat on his mobile phone ...in the end I asked for my card back and left the milkshake there. I am a local, but i dont think I will bother again. Oh, and on January 29, an incredible hot day - they hardly had any stock....there were no more...

From other reviews, it seems that service is a hit or miss. Service was terrible for me. They don’t have direction for queue so people just came up randomly to the middle of the counter and I was patiently waiting with my 5 yo behind 6 people ahead of me. After they served 4 or 5 people that came after us, I had to tell one of the servers that the 2 teenagers had been waiting there before the other people. I finally yelled at the 2 servers after they served the 7th person that came after the 3 of us. They never asked who was next and never told anyone...

If this place still has a manager - please do something about the bad customer service. We went there with my wife this Sunday 29 at 3 pm asking for affogatos. The clerk (a guy) gave us a take-away plastic glass (we never said to take away by the way) with a miserable amount of vanilla ice cream - that became a melted stain immediately - that it ended up in a rubbish bin. Even he threw our change in the counter. If he hate his job that's his problem - I'm not coming back. Waste of time,...
