Visited Campbelltown RSL on Saturday 19th June 2021, after checking in (which was the best part of the night) we proceeded to the Bell Brasserie for which we had a reservation. Had to wait to be seated which was fine, but to find out there were people seated at our reserved table, so after waiting for them to be moved to another table and then waiting for the table to be wiped down due to covid, we were finally pointed to our table and we proceeded to choose from the menu. I also had a birthday cake which I asked could this be put aside in a fridge and it was eventually done. After ordering, our meals arrived and the adults all had meals with salad which had little or no dressing on it, which made it very unappertising. Very disappointed with the meal. After our meal I arranged for the cake to be brought out and it was, with plates and spoons etc. But when the time came to go home, I requested for the box that the cake came in so I could take the left over cake home. I am still waiting to hear about the box. I assume it was thrown out with the rubbish. No one came to inform me about the missing box. Thank goodness I had brought a container with me that had other items in it so that I could take the left over cake home. We were all very disappointed with the service and food and after this experience and was not surprised to see the club as empty has it is. We have been to this Bistro some time ago and was very happy to return, but not now. I was even thinking of joining with the Campbelltown RSL but not now. Very disappointed...

Just moved into the Campbelltown area and wanted a pub meal, decided to check Campbelltown rsl with my misses.
Last Sunday we went in, Guy at the counter was on the phone and trying to talk to me, looked like he could barely handle it. I told him we wanted to get lunch, he said no problems and signed us in and then when we enter and go to the restaurant - it's closed.
Thought I'd try again yesterday, a week later on Saturday. This time I go in and they have 3 staff instead of 1. They all proceed to ask me about signing in and vaccination one after the other, seemingly oblivious the person 2 foot from them has just asked me the same question. The security guard and the younger female were very nice but the older lady was just rude.. Something about her tone and the way she was asking.
I mention we are here to eat and want to confirm the kitchen is open - the women says 'are you here for the buffet because if you are, the buffet has been closed for 2 years'.
I said 'no... I'm just looking for a bistro meal'. To which she responded yes it's open.
Then they refused to let my misses in because her licence was expired by a month. It was the same licence they let us in the week before when the bistro was closed.
I went to Campbelltown RSL twice and it was a waste of time twice. I'm not going back.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreSub par dinner service on a Saturday night. The loft managers need to put more staff in the kitchen because waiting 1.5 hours for food is not acceptable for adults let alone my children who were restless, tired and starving. Then when the food for the table did come it was two plates at a time for a table of 7. There was half an hour difference between the first and last plate arriving, meaning some were finished as others had just gotten their food. I could see many other tables around getting restless waiting for food aswell, one customer getting a packet of potato chips to eat while they waited for their meal.
Baby high chairs had terrible restraint systems that weren't working properly, and sticky feeling on them.
Food was club quality, certainly nothing I'll be returning for...
