Gong Cha Lidcombe Station — Attraction in Sydney

This is the 2nd time their qq passionfruit tasted strangely off. The first time it tasted sour, and the second time it tasted off and tasted a bit like soap water(?) I had a friend taste it too. And I always get the same options for it. This seems to only happen at this store out of the 3-4 gong chas I visit regularly in the past 12 months. I didn't have the time to go back and enquire as I usually am already driving off and tasting it only then but I've learnt my lesson now with here and probably won't be getting the qq at least. and the female staff here on weekends is consistently unfriendly or seems unhappy about something, I feel bad entering the store and ordering

UPDATE: have been in contact with the store, and the complaint management process was really speedy and very customer oriented 👍🏼 i could tell the owner is definitely wanting to provide the best and has an open ear on feedback- which is a great characteristic for a business to have. was at this gong cha tonight before the Eric Chou and concert and like this girl at the counter was standing there for a full minute staring at my friend and waiting for him to order and then out of nowhere she calls out Sam one of her colleagues ugly and then ask then ask the other girls “don’t you think Sam is ugly !?” and then two other female colleagues screamed out loud while ten people in the queue waiting for their drinks “Yes his so ugly Sam is actually ugly “ btw my friend standing there his name is also Sam and felt so attacked ! and then when i asked for a carry bag she’s like it 5 cents and gave me dirty. the audacity! these teenage girls working there are so immature and rude! who trained them ? who are their mothers ? they probably don’t have any mothers to teach them general manners . if you hate your job and your ugly colleague sam just quit....

I’m a frequent customer at Gong Cha Lidcombe and honestly, it never disappoints! The staff are always friendly and quick, and I love how consistent the drinks taste every time. I come here so often that trying out new drinks has basically become my routine—whether it’s a classic milk tea, something fruity, or one of their seasonal specials, there’s always something exciting on the menu.

The store is clean and welcoming, and service is fast even during busy times. It’s my go-to spot whenever I’m in the area, and I’ve recommended it to plenty of friends who’ve all enjoyed it just as much. Definitely one of my favorite Gong...
