Marlow & Finch — Local services in Sydney

I engaged Marlow and Finch back in 2022, to provide me with custom-made blinds and curtains for my new townhouse, which was under construction at the time. Praveeni was amazing - touching base with me every 6 weeks or so for an update on progress, and chasing a possible installation date. The ONLY reason I haven't given 5 stars is for 2 reasons, (beyond the control of the Sales team): firstly - the fabric I had selected for the lounge room was unavailable for 2 months once I had confirmed readiness for the installation, delaying the installation date. Secondly - on the day of installation, the curtain rail for the main living area was too short, meaning the curtains had to be re-made, with another 3 month wait for my chosen fabric (due February 2024!) That said - the installers were some of the most polite and friendly tradies I have ever met, and the blinds and curtains that HAVE been installed so far are amazing - the quality of the fabric is beautiful, and they have been admired by visitors to my home since installation. A special mention goes to Nathan, who was profusely apologetic for the delay, and has assured me the missing curtains will be installed ASAP once the fabric arrives in country. A friendly team indeed, however, dishonest. We received a quote for roller blinds installation from 'No Bull Blinds' and a quote from 'Marlow & Finch'. Marlow and Finch's quote was twice as much as No Bull Blinds quote. When the Marlow & Finch consultant came to do the measurement, we enquired about the big price difference between Marlow & Finch's quote and others. We were ensured that Marlow & Finch's products are of premium quality. We accepted and agreed for the installation by Marlow & Finch. On the day of the installation, a 'No Bull Blinds' van arrived with the blinds. The installer came wearing a 'No Bull Blinds' uniform. This was the same person who came to give a measure and quote on behalf of No Bull Blinds. From discussing further with the installer he admitted that the roller blinds that he installs for No Bull Blinds and Marlow & Finch are from the No Bull Blinds factory. Also the products are identical. Anyone shopping for roller blinds, are better off going to No Bull Blinds as you will be getting the same products for half the cost.
