I wanted to try this place. Directions : There is a building just for parking, and this venue is on the 5th level. Washrooms are at the ground level near the main street close to where 2 wheelers are parked. So there is a parking payment counter, next to it are the lifts and next to it is the washroom. There is another lift towards the alley way. Both lifts take you to 5th level and you can walk into the venue. The venue : Pros - 1. If you are a party animal you will love the vibe. 2. The staff are courteous and friendly 3. Registration was quick and easy 4. Faster and well maintained karts 5. Good view of the SCG and parts of the city. 6. They lend you a quadlock case for free in exchange of your ID proof in case you want to film your run. They have 2 quadlock mounts on all the karts and you can have your phone facing front or back if you decide to use the rear camera only. 7. I think you can park your car at level 5, which will be the shortest distance to the venue. Cons - 1. Too humid and lacking fresh air unless you are standing at the edge of the building facing the SCG. Everywhere else it's hot as hell. 2. The music is too loud. They should tone it down so people can talk to each other. 3. The lights were blinding us. It would have been good to have it at certain places but not everywhere. We would have been better off driving blindfolded. 4. Too many turns for karts with so much speed. Not a fun experience. I am all about the adrenaline, don't get me wrong but not having a fair bit of straight seems to kill the desire to push the karts limits. 5. They should have washrooms at their venue.

The absolute worst VR experience in the world. Our scheduled 10:20 session was a complete disaster. All VR equipments had issues, and the staff were unprofessional. The headphones were a constant problem – no teammate voices, no game sounds, only one side working, or sometimes no game images at all. When we once again reported the headphone issues to the staff, they insisted we continue playing, as if gaming without sound was acceptable. Until 11, as they were unable to resolve the issue, we requested a refund. When attempting a refund, the manager flatly refused, even though the fault totally lay with their equipment, and the only solution they gave us is a gift card refund, but I am very certain that we will not come here again. Throughout our negotiation, the staff exhibited extreme impatience and a complete absence of apology. They said the only way we can get refund is that we need to email their office by ourselves, showing no regard for our dissatisfaction. Hyper Karting is the last place you'd want to spend your time. Don't waste your precious moments amidst their shoddy equipment and staffs’ yelling.

4.5 stars. It's truly incredible how they've turned a slightly superfluous level of the carpark into a great venue so close to the CBD. The track itself is very windy and most corners sharp. The karts are a great fit for the track, but frustratingly speed/power limited depending on your lap times (which can be a vicious cycle if you get stuck in traffic). The 15 minute sessions are also overpriced if you go during peak periods and in my opinion would not be worth it (with some sessions costing $59). If you can, try to come during the weekdays - particularly during off peak times. There are plenty of opportunities to grab $19 races (acc. as of March '22) which are incredible value for money. The 'expert' sessions are also a fantastic idea to separate the very keen racer's from casual karters (and a 47s lap time is by no means unattainable for the keen karter). Service is great and while the session times often run behind it generally runs like a well-oiled machine. Definitely made some key improvements over the past 12 months and I'm very impressed!

Hyper disappointing! Go kart tracks are supposed to be a fun adrenaline fuelled experience. Maybe it’s just me, but I walked away from this place never wanting to purchase any type of electric vehicle! Hyper Karting is probably the worst advertising for anyone considering going electric. The karts are throttled down at certain points around the track, and I had issues with my kart literally stopping in the middle of the race. Felt like the whole experience was controlled by a computer. This resulted in me losing a few minutes of race time until I was put into a different kart. My seven year old son was going to be racing on the kids track (which he loved by the way) so I just asked the staff member if he could give the time I lost to my son. It was about 4pm on a week day and there was no one else on the kids track at that time so I thought that would work great. However for this simple request I had to go discuss with the manager at the front counter. The manager then proceeded to assert his authority and that I was given extra time during my race. He tried to tell me other people were faster than me that’s why I finished with 2 less laps than the guys that were doing similar lap times to me. Instead of just saying yeah no worries, sorry you had issues with your experience, he wanted to keep arguing with me. He could have just said all good and not actually given my son extra time, but just by me thinking he got extra I would have been happy. Would only recommend this place to little kids to play in their karts. Definitely will not consider booking potential bucks party, birthdays or anything like that for my mates. Stick with the real deal in combustion powered karts on...

Had the worst experience here yesterday! I’ll rate a 0 if I could. Staff at the counter was very unfriendly when I registered myself, she gave an attitude looking like she didn’t want to be there working. Booked for a 7pm session, my friends and I came at 6.45pm told the counter that 1 of our friend was running late, they said it was fine that we could go for the next available session. Checked multiple times at the counter just to make sure and they just kept saying “is okay, is fine” when it is not! First of all, you don’t tell your customer “is okay, is fine” when you’re not able to slot us for any session at all. I understand it is our fault from the beginning for being late but at least tell us it is not possible to reschedule for next session at all then we would have not waited for our friend and proceeded instead of burning our money. The manager was not nice, did not give us any solutions and just blamed us for being late, did not hear the announcement etc when you’re having miscommunication internally. She even told us to write an email to complain if we’re not happy. Well done on your customer service! Why does one staff said is okay and the other says is not okay? Zero negotiation; no reschedule, no credit, nothing! If you’re thinking to come here, be prepared to...
