Jamaica Blue Moore Park Entertainment Quarter — Restaurant in Sydney

I had a disappointing experience at Jamaica Blue due to poor service. In the late afternoon, I visited with a friend for a coffee and meal. Since all the indoor seating was occupied, we had to sit outside. Unfortunately, all the outdoor tables were dirty. Despite emphasising that I am vegan and requesting assistance in removing the egg and cheese from my bowl while adding mushrooms (which was an option), they completely messed up my entire order! I kindly asked them to remove the cheese and eggs and replace them with mushrooms as originally requested. When my meal was brought back, the egg was replaced, but the cheese was still present!!! I also ordered Rye sourdough toast on the side, but when it arrived, I received a white sourdough toast instead. (At this point I just let it slide) Overall, it was a disappointing experience with bad customer service. I also observed that the staff seemed unaware of their customers' needs. They attempted to remove our table number from our table three times while we were waiting for our meals, assuming we had already received our meal and were finished, when in reality, our food order had not yet come! I specifically ordered a cappuccino, in a mug, to have in. I was given a number, I took a seat and read whilst awaiting my order. Some time later, I noticed that the barista had been calling out "large cappuccino" for quite a while, and mine had not arrived. I went to the counter to check. Yes, that was my coffee, in a takeaway cup. I explained that I'd ordered a coffee in a mug. Not long after, a cappuccino in a mug arrived. It was the worst I've had in Sydney. I am certain she poured the coffee from the paper cup into the mug, and shook some chocolate on top. It was cold, the foam was non-existent, and it tasted like a mocha with all the chocolate. I came here at roughly 6:00pm. When I walked over the guy said it was open, but then when we tried to order a bowl of chips, he said he’s only doing cabinet window food and drinks but nothing from the kitchen. After we got our drinks (mind you the ice chocolate was horrible), he went and served another customer a bowl of chips! service is outrageous, he made me move my chair out of the way and made me move another chair so he could do something when he could’ve moved the chairs himself.
