Food was fantastic but service was appalling from the manager.
We were a party of 10, each person spend over $60, big group and everyone ordered online so understandable that the waitress might get mixed up with which dish belongs to whom.
One of my orders was the 3 taco set, Specifically chose 2 pork and 1 chicken (no beef due to health and religious reasons) each time tacos were brought to the table I asked the waitress if that was the 2 port and 1 chicken set, each time I was told a variation of all beef 1 pork 1 chicken and 1 beef 2 pork , 1 beef
After seeing that everyone’s food had been served and only drinks were coming out, I asked the waitress if the total package including 2 pork and 1 chicken was coming out soon.
I was told “ I already gave it to the man sitting next to you “ I told her that couldn’t be right as I asked when she gave him the taco If that was the 2 pork and 1 chicken and she said it was 1 pork, 1 chicken and 1 beef. She just said oh I’ll get the manager maybe there was a mix up with the other waitress
Manager comes out, middle Aged gentleman with some facial hair, asks me again and I explain what had happened ( how I’ve been waiting for my food, how every time the tacos came I asked if that was the 2 pork and 1 chicken, how each time I was told it was beef).
Manager flat out goes there’s “no way that could have happened”, waitress then denies that she called it beef, then manager just goes It’s definitely already been given to you but I’ll go make a another one. Each time he came over it felt really hostile and just indirectly calling us liars and acting like we were complaining to Get 3 free tacos?? ( mind you we over ordered and had so many food we didn’t even finish)
Really disappointed, waitress in general were very accommodating and nice, however I manage a store myself and I understand taking your staffs side, but for a manager calling your customers liars and treating them like that is appalling.
Spent almost 600$ as a group and walked out...
Read moreAs someone who appreciates a good dining experience, I recently had the pleasure of visiting El Camino, a Mexican restaurant known for its authentic cuisine and vibrant atmosphere. I was particularly impressed by the warm hospitality and exceptional service provided by the waitress, Heloísa. Here's a detailed review of my experience at El Camino.
Ambience: The moment I stepped into El Camino, I was captivated by its lively atmosphere. The restaurant's decor, with its colorful murals and traditional Mexican motifs, transported me to the heart of Mexico. The dim lighting and carefully curated music added to the ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed evening.
Heloísa, our waitress, deserves special recognition for her outstanding service. She greeted us with a warm smile and was attentive throughout our meal. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she patiently answered all our questions, making recommendations based on our preferences. Heloísa's professionalism and friendliness enhanced our dining experience, and I would like to commend her for her exceptional service.
Now, onto the most important aspect - the food. El Camino offers a diverse menu with a range of traditional Mexican dishes, and each dish we tried was a delightful culinary experience. The tacos, filled with tender meats and topped with homemade salsas, were a true delight. I also highly recommend trying the steak, which were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
My experience at El Camino was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of delicious food, vibrant ambiance, and exceptional service made it a memorable dining experience. I would like to extend my gratitude to Heloísa for her outstanding service and to the entire team at El Camino for creating such a wonderful dining experience. I look forward to my next visit and would highly recommend El Camino to anyone looking for an authentic taste of Mexico in a...
Read moreOverpriced Mexican McDonald's Scam for those who don't know good genuine mexican food. On arrival we waited a couple of minutes and then were told to wait a few more, no problems but some staff turned away from us and others weren't busy. We were a neat, casual Dad & young Daughter twosome. It was stuffy inside so we chose to sit outside. There were plenty of tables available. We found out it was half price Fajita Thursday after asking because nothing was offered to us. So lucky they were half price because paying $40-$45 for one of these is totally not cool. The ordering is done by a barcode app that unbelievably asks for a tip before you receive the food and service. It soon became clear to me why. What a scam! We ordered the steak and the brisket fajitas with some extra bread and beans and rice. I am average size and my daughter is young and small. We were not told this would definitely be too much for us to eat, but we were told afterwards that my daughter could not take any home because it was a special. It would have been nice to know this previously or been told it was too much food for us. First the waitress gave us the disappointing news, then the boss came over and told us. So disappointing that they promote waste to earn money. Felt like we had been scammed twice. As for the food... the beans were gluggy and dry, the rice was hard (not pleasantly) and the (pulled?) Brisket was ok. Steak was good. The condiments all come in the same bowl so good luck separating them if you don't like them all. Entertainment...
