Plus side: Easy Parking, Usually plenty sits available, good cinema in terms of tech (sits, sound, screen)
Negatives: We were on Hoyts Lux show (theater 6) on Avatar move (+/- 3 h 15 min). First the signs to get to that theater are not clear. It says on the wall that theater 6 is on right (1-6 -- and 7

When we arrived, the lady at the counter first directed us to the wrong cinema that was up 2 levels and actually closed. We finally found the right room but were late 10min to see the film intro. I decided to order some food about 30 minutes into the film, and ordered a simple pizza and fries, paid on the spot which was convenient.
Come 10min before the movie actually finishes, food still didn't arrive, and I went to the bar to figure out what the hell happened to my food that I paid $49 for. There were 7 workers all just standing, talking behind the bar, and they all hushed when I came to ask where my food was. One of them had stated they "got my seat number wrong" which is honestly shocking to me, cause wouldn't you take the food into the cinema and just see who didn't receive their food? Or just go around and ask quietly? It's really not that hard. Instead, they were probably waiting for me to come to the bar so they don't have to go find who ordered it, and were like "Oh we have the food, do you still want it?" Why would I want food I ordered an hour ago that's probably been sitting there for half an hour and cooled off? No I don't want the food anymore cause the movie is nearly done! I only give an extra star because they were kind enough to give me a refund when I asked for it.
Sorry, but the customer service ain't really it. At least look like you're busy, or don't let the food sit there and come look for whoever ordered it, there weren't that many people in my cinema screening. It's really not rocket science. I work in customer service, and this is really a testament to the reason why people are slowly opting away from cinemas. Thought I'd try Hoyts, but was just so underwhelming to be honest. Never liked...

No more and no less. Very clean and impressively designed, creating an inviting, atmosphere. The seats in the cinemas are sooo comfortable and I love that you can fully recline your seat. The food and beverage is expensive but thatâs to be expected. The selection of beverages including wines and beer is pretty impressive but also again, expensive. I paid $22.00 concession (membership price) concession which I thought was expensive. I booked my ticket on the Hoyts App. The staff were courteous but you could tell their heart was there. They didnât seem to care either way. I wanted to get a frozen drink but the machine wasnât ready yet (it was the beginning of the day), I feel they should have got the machine ready so that can buy these drinks from the first movie session. Unless you have a car, getting to this cinema is a bit of a track. I had to get the light rail đ from Central Station to the Moore Park light rail stop and walk from there. I came to this cinema because I heard it was pretty good but I donât think I would really go out of my way to come back. Itâs a good cinema and if you drive, I would recommend....
