Lunatiques Renewed — Attraction in Sydney

I could spend hours exploring this huge and varied collection of vintage and antique stalls under one roof. But I am very conflicted as the place is hot and humid in summer and some of the stall owners seem to have no idea about the effects of light, heat, and dust on their beautiful vintage and antique items. The worst offender was a stall where the owner had left vast numbers of antiquarian books up to 200 years old lying around to degrade in the heat, humidity and dust under constant bright light. 5 points for the enormous range, but 0 points for the poor environmental conditions and lack of air con. giant warehouse with individual 'stalls' or sellers with a huge range of vintage and antiques. Many of the items tend towards the rather expensive range of old furniture or knickknacks, but there are some truly beautiful pieces. If you are looking for classy, comfy and unique furniture or deco (and don't have the time to find it yourself at markets/opp shops and fix it up) this is the place for you!

*NOTE the entrance and parking is off Gardeners Road, Google Maps will take you into a driveway off Kent road. This driveway/parking is for a private company and you have to walk all the way around...

Wow! Lunatiques is definitely one of the coolest old wares store I have been to in Australia. The staff are fun and very helpful. The warehouse is spacious and easy to move around from stall to stall. You can easily see all of the items on offer without too many people being in the way. The also have trollies at the front counter so you can put larger items on and wheel them around and out to your vehicle. Parking out the back is quite good and plentiful.
