The Scenic Walkway supposedly offers visitors an opportunity to explore and immerse themselves in the ancient rainforest and diverse natural beauty of the region. The walkway is a 2.4-kilometer boardwalk that winds its way through lush rainforest, offering a serene and tranquil experience. As you stroll along the path, you'll encounter an array of native plant species, unique wildlife, and enchanting waterfalls. The walkway provides an up-close and personal encounter with the natural wonders of the Blue Mountains.

Along the Scenic Walkway, you'll also find interpretive signage and information boards that provide insights into the region's rich history, including its coal mining heritage. You can learn about the geological formations, the significance of the flora and fauna, and the traditional custodians of the land.

The walkway is well-maintained and wheelchair accessible, making it suitable for visitors of all ages and abilities. It offers a peaceful and rejuvenating experience as you immerse yourself in the beauty of the rainforest, listening to the sounds of nature and breathing in the fresh mountain air. Unfortunately during our visit, we have not seen a single wildlife creature except for...

We had an incredible time exploring the Blue Mountains Scenic Walkway, an elevated boardwalk that winds through the lush, ancient rainforest of the Jamison Valley. Surrounded by towering gorgeous trees, vibrant ferns, and the soothing sounds of native wildlife, it felt like stepping into a peaceful, untouched paradise.

We passed a historic coal mine, with some exhibits👍

The well-maintained path made for an easy and enjoyable stroll, allowing us to fully soak in the breathtaking landscapes and crisp mountain air.

An unforgettable experience and an absolute must-do when visiting this...

If you are trying to see the main blue mountains attractions like 3 sisters, katoomba falls, you should go to scenic world. You can view these sights from the comfort of 3 different fun viewing methods: cable car, enclosed zip train, mini roller coaster style train. All 3 included with the scenic world pass. Very fun and amazing views. Excellent way to have the best view without any work or effort. Perfect if you only have 1 day in blue mountains. Your whole trip can be just scenic world and see the sights from there. Extremely family/mobility restricted friendly....

Awesome view of three sisters or as the locals call it "the girls." Note for those catching local bus back to Katoomba rail station: Bus may be full and will skip stop. Bus drivers are rude and tense. Don't expect them to be nice. We ended up walking back to the station. 30-minute walk but pleasant seeing the local neighborhood. Didn't do the giant stairs and honeymoon bridge. One lady coming back said climb down stairs were hard on her knees, and they only went halfway. Can't go on bridge anyway as Ranger said the bridge was closed.
