Sandy beach front to harbour. Small boats moored in the bay make a picturesque outlook. See pass the boats to Sydney Harbour Bridge. While the frontage is private property down to mean high water, quiet use is ok up to the delineated property walls. The swimming is good but not as pleasant as at Murray Rose harbour pool (through the open gate in the wire fence to the west). The east end has marine life, including baby stingrays. No dogs allowed. Update: Large storm water drains feed onto the beach. These are very dangerous for children as the openings are wide and not closed off by steel bars.
