Sandy beach front to harbour. Small boats moored in the bay make a picturesque outlook. See pass the boats to Sydney Harbour Bridge. While the frontage is private property down to mean high water, quiet use is ok up to the delineated property walls. The swimming is good but not as pleasant as at Murray Rose harbour pool (through the open gate in the wire fence to the west). The east end has marine life, including baby stingrays. No dogs allowed. _Update:_ Large storm water drains feed onto the beach. These are very dangerous for children as the openings are wide and not closed off by steel bars. With heavy rains, the drains spew a lot of street gutter waste onto the beach.

The closest beach to the city of Sydney. Beautiful, not to big, hide enough to don't be packed all the time. And with differents spaces, for kids, familys, teen-agers, to enjoy it by yourself or with friends. Not that many waves but yes with a lot of boats, they don't use to move, but if they do, some soft "currents" can appear for a couple of minutes. Chill and hide beach, high recomended!

Beautiful small little Beach with beautiful view. Pets allowed, changed rooms, toilets, showers and cafe close by. With gardens to explore albeit quite small. Great picnic area and just over all chill the afternoon away can be quite busy during summer with school kids around and after school hour otherwise great place for all.

Seven Shillings Beach offers a refreshing harbour-side dip where self-consciousness is checked at the gate. The Murry Rose 'Pool', a shark - proof enclosure with pontoons, boardwalk, grass embankment and Cafe is approached via Woollahra Council Chambers and the glorious surrounding Redleaf Gardens.

Really good harbour beach, good facilities, shaded cafe, lockers, bathrooms, ramps from road down to the cafe, one flight of steps to the sand. Swimming is safe with enclosed pier with nets, and two floating pontoons!

Commonly known as Redleaf Beach or Redleaf pool, this is a Sydney locals favourite for leisure swimming and sunbathing alike. Jumping off the boardwalk is also allowed and a lot of fun.
