I have visited with friends and family but suffered the worst racism It was December 27th and the door was open, but the owner was alone at the table and it was dark inside. We asked if the door was open, and as soon as we heard the sound, he said, "White people don't ask if the door is open." We asked if it was open because we didn't hear it wrong. exclaimed. It seemed to me that the boss was also a stranger. I have never been treated like this anywhere else in the world. The three kids I had with me and my friend were shocked. All day the children asked why he was talking like that. It was the first racism I experienced while living in Australia and it was the worst. Looks can be deceiving! My wife and I were meandering down the streets of Double Bay one hot Saturday afternoon and we thought it would be a great time for an ice cream. After looking for a local place we found French Riviera. From the outside it looks like a store from the eighties but we took a chance! And we were so glad we did. The ice cream took me back to my childhood, delicious, well portioned but doesn’t leave a sick aftertaste. I find some of the chain gelato and ice cream places do! On top of this, really well priced and the owner was the cutest guy ever! He may have been the owner but even if he wasn’t his generosity and warmth were evident. I rarely write such long reviews but this was such a fantastic find I had to let the world know. We can’t wait for our next visit to this...

I've been here 30years ago... And looking for this place for 30years . And finally find this place. And ...granpa still there. And made me this grand menu for me , which he don't sell it anymore( for more than 10yrs). Thanks papa. It was really really delecious as I remembered when i was young. And Great many thanks for...making it for me. I can fully enjoyed the taste of nostalgia until the end of it sir.

Hopely can see u again. And I really recomand here to others who looking for good gelato. It isnt fency gelato as nowdays. But I can 999% guarantee that u will love there.
