Great mid sized cafe, easily catering for groups of 2-20+ people with outdoor seating for those with kids, dogs, prams etc. Serving up a wide selection of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options. PARKING: Street and local Woolworths car park available, a minute from the entrance. FOOD: Nonies gluten free (gf) bread and toasted gf banana bread available, in addition to several salads which can also be made vegan/vegetarian. PRICING: Reasonably priced. ACCESSIBILITY: Wheelchair and pram friendly, with bathrooms located opposite also on level floor. STAFF: Friendly, however I can't imagine you couldn't half the head count on even a crazy busy day and still easily manage. The amount of staff seems ridiculous. LOCATION: Centrally located in the heart of the shopping strip. Ideally situated directly opposite Woolworths which is handy. OVERALL: Would recommend.

Hands down the best cafe and restaurant in Double Bay so far! They serve amazing coffee and the barista was so friendly! We always ordered mocha, chai, and matcha. It's my third visit here to try their various meals (breakfast and lunch). My family and I tried the xo chilli scramble (8/10), steak sanga (still my favourite 10/10), Caesar salad (8/10) with chicken breast, and Vietnamese salad (8/10). Their Hash Bene (7/10) is tasty and unique because it uses hash browns instead of toast. However, in my opinion, the spinach should be seasoned so that it does not taste too bland. The service was also excellent, with polite and friendly staff. Recommended! I will definitely return here!

Really nice little cafe with excellent coffee and very good food. The selection is really big and the service was fairly efficient given that we came as a group of 10... We didn't have to wait too long and food was nicely plated and well cooked to taste! I had the breakfast burger which was awesome and the serving was huge! My friend had the granola bowl and it looked so pretty and she said it was delicious and generously topped with ingredients... It even came with a passion fruit panna cotta on it. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal here and would come back again!

Extremely disappointing and won’t be back. The first waitress had a terrible attitude and snarled at us when we were talking to her. When we ordered I asked if the eggs in the Shakshuka could be hard due to being pregnant. She said yes. I said are you sure because I’ll order something else if it’s not possible to bake them hard. She assured me it was. We also asked if we could move as we were seated at a table that was hard to hear. She said she would let us know. When we saw another table become available we asked if we could move and she snapped back that she couldn’t help us. We then asked a different waitress who moved us to a vacant table. We told her we had already ordered and she said she would transfer our order to the new table. Our food came out and my eggs were soft, my friend got the wrong order and no drink arrived. A new waitress came over to fix our meals. When our new meals came out my Shakshuka was just some tomato type sauce in the pan and had two hard boiled eggs plonked on top. I had to tell the waitress that it was not a Shakshuka as it was not baked as described on the menu. I said I would order something else. Over an hour later and after my friend had finished her meal, the third meal came out. It was ok but not amazing. I was so hungry by that stage and just needed to eat. The last waitress we had was apologetic and tried to rectify all the issues we had experienced but I’m still astonished that she let the second Shakshuka go out and I had to explain that it wasn’t what was described on the menu. The final straw was when she said she had given us a discount off our bill and when I checked the bill, the “discount” was mostly the removal of the Shakshuka. We ended up with a few dollars discount. It was an extremely disappointing dining experience and the owners need to review their operations because it was very poor at every point. I wasn’t impressed with handing over money for such a disappointing experience and will not be going back or...

I was recommended this place by multiple people that said it was the best breakfast in double bay. So I was happy to take my friend here for breakfast with that being said I must say I was very disappointed in the food and service. I understand that busy mornings can be hard for the staff, especially in such a busy place, however we were recommended the XO scrambled eggs. We got a banana bread and the XO, the banana bread was incredibly sweet and the scrambled eggs were lukewarm and a toast was soggy. After a few minutes we were done eating. We continued to sit for another 45 minutes chatting and during this time not one staff member came to check on us. At the counter I pointed at the table and the staff member told me the total amount and to tap my card. Nothing more.

Leaving a bit embarrassed as I had recommended this place, as we both left still hungry and disappointed.

Great spot if you want to check out super cars driving by and lots of...
