I booked this kayaking experience after seeing a few videos online, and I can confidently say it was the best decision we made. The company was exceptionally well-organised, with clear instructions and a strong emphasis on safety. Life jackets were provided, and the security of the kayaks was a top priority throughout.

We had a brilliant morning on the water — the communication and support from the team were excellent, and the route itself offered stunning views of the Opera House and surrounding harbour. The entire experience was made even more special by the beautiful sunrise, which really made it a perfect morning.

I struggle with motion sickness and, unfortunately, had forgotten my travel sickness tablets that day. The crew went above and beyond to support me — constantly checking in, offering help, and even towing me back when the water got a bit choppy. I genuinely can’t thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism.

Highly recommended for anyone visiting Sydney — an...

Absolutely incredible experience. Everything was really well organised. Great safety talk and demonstration at the start. Helpful guides. I was really slow at the beginning and one of the guides hung back to give me some tips and keep me company which I really appreciated, and it was particularly good advice as I then got the hang of it. Knowledgeable guides who gave a tour and info once we actually got to the opera house. Chris took action photos along with group pics and sent them to us afterwards which was perfect as we didn't want to risk taking our phones and dropping them overboard. Would recommend shorts as the bottom of my cargo trousers got very wet lol. Overall amazing activity and couldn't thank the team more. Have already recommended to many people and may book again for December when my mum comes to visit. Not to mention what an utterly ridiculous experience it is kayaking to Sydney opera house and harbour bridge. Couldn't pick a single fault if I...

Worth getting up for. My days of getting up before dawn were, I thought, well behind me (been there, done that, got the T shirt) but on a whim decided to watch the sun come up over Sydney harbour bridge. Getting to Sydney Kayaking tours at Rushcutters bay, half an hour before I went to bed, we were met by Chris and his team of Instrustors/guides who were friendly and professsional. We were given a comprehensive safety brief on what we had to do and how to do it. Chris is a big man and I couldn't help think he will block out the sun when it comes up! Anyway, after getting kitted up, we had a short period of familiarisation before setting off towards Sydney harbour bridge. It was a truly spectacular and magnificant sight watching the sun come up behind the bridge definitely worth getting up for. All in all, a two hour experience that was well run and organised but most of all fun, that I would thoroughly...

We had the most incredible sunrise kayaking experience with Sydney Kayaking Tours. We knew from the start that we were in good hands. The team was super professional and experienced in what they do. We were given clear guidance and were well looked after from start to finish. Everyone in the team was warm, kind and respectful. There were many wholesome peaceful moments in the water at every little break we took and when we watched the sunrise together on this beautiful harbour. Chris kindly took photos to capture these moments and shared with us at the end. We wrapped up the day with a delicious coffee and pastry at the bay, still feeling exhilarating from the experience. Me and my group of friends absolutely made a lasting memory from this event. It couldn't have gone any better. Highly Recommend!

Amazing Kayaking Experience in Sydney! Kayaking in Sydney was one of the best outdoor experiences I’ve ever had. The views of the harbor, with the iconic Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge in the background, are spectacular. Paddling over the calm waters of the harbor gives you a unique sense of peace, while also allowing you to see the vibrant city life up close. The tour staff was very friendly and professional, giving us clear instructions on safety and how to maneuver. It was perfect for both beginners and more experienced kayakers. Plus, the water conditions were ideal, making the whole experience highly enjoyable. If you’re looking for an active way to explore Sydney from a completely different angle, kayaking is an excellent option.

Thanks to Sydney Kayaking Tours for the best first experience in Sydney - and of kayaking - for us! Some highlights: - The tour starts on time with safety + instructions and runs about 3 hours - The instructors were so friendly and helpful! They also take some really cool pictures for/of you - The experience itself was something so unique. You start when it’s dark and kayak for about 2-2.5hrs, testing your own skills and limits, and experience the sun rise on the horizon - The final reward of catching the Sydney Opera House up close is so worth all the effort - The final treat at the cafe feels like a warm hug Overall, I 100% recommend this experience for anyone looking to do something fun/unique/adventurous in Sydney.
