Not truly COVIDsafe! We were shocked – especially mid-pandemic – that the woman working the kitchen and waiting tables yesterday (9 October) was not wearing a mask, yet was so blatantly coughing, sniffing and clearing her throat our whole time there. Of course, in all likelihood, she probably had a cold or allergies. However, it shows a general lack of courtesy to your customers and the community at large to be working when symptomatic and not at least wearing a mask. We abandoned our food and left. cuteness on the corner Still running on New Zealand time and being fresh off the plane for work, I needed a quick pick me up to get the mental boosters flowing and ready for work... that’s where Elizabeth Bay Cafe steps up. Cute cafe in this thriving suburb for upper class wanderers. — The Bacon and Egg Toasted Sambo is a winner. Light, full of flavour. Truly hits the spot for a good pick up. The coffee was just superb too!!

I moved to Sydney 4 years ago and this cafe was right across from the place I moved into (still in) and as a Kiwi Coffee Culture snob I had low hopes but Lizzy Bay Cafe nailed it with AllPress Coffee beans and eggs Benedict to write to the Queen about.

Few changes to the menu over the years but still killing it.
