Fun little dog-friendly 2km track to wander through so beautiful greenery. Kinda awesome to have the urban/forest vibe and get lost amongst the trees. Isn’t particularly difficult but a few rocks to walk up and down if you’re not super stable on your feet. Usually things like trees to hold on to. Our small dog isn’t super confident on open grated surfaces so we had to carry her over a few bits but they’re not long stretches - some stairs and a few paths. Nice parks at both ends and wouldn’t be hard to extend the walk.

Wonderful bushwalk so close to the inner west. If you're walking your dog, the middle section has a longish boardwalk and a steep set of stairs made of a widely spaced metal grate that your pup probably won't want to walk on. If you're not comfortable carrying your dog for 30-40 metres you'll need to turn back halfway. Still a beautiful walk for you and your dog. Enter from the East if you still want to see the fruit bat colony.

Very nice walk not too far from the city, the trail isn't very hard and and the dogs enjoyed it, walking to the flying foxes camp was so cool and seeing the camp was so amazing I would definitely recommend doing this hike on a nice day as a change from the normal beach day

I completed the walk from Bexley North train station to Tempe train station on a sunny and warm spring day. Fortunately, there were no snakes. the highlight was the fruit bat colony. Notably, you hear that colony long before you encounter it. Easy and convenient to hop on a Sydney train back to the start point. Plenty of free street parking at the Bexley North entry point. Take a bottle of water...
