This Taverna is a Gem and a asset to eating Greek food out in Sydney! Either with family or simply eating out with friends! Not only is the staff welcoming and friendly but the food is exquisite, but the atmosphere takes you and has the feel of being not only in Kalymnos but in any destination in Greece..!! The Dinning experience is superb and the food tasty and filling. A place that you would like to go again and again to eat out. I have seen some negative reviews, but all business have their good and bad day and the negative reviews should not influence any dinners opinion. If you would love to dine out and have the feel of being in Greece I would highly recommend 👌

Great place excellent service waitress was very helpful and informative, but unfortunately the food was less than impressive. The beans were nice but overcooked and way too much dill, all I could taste was dill. The eggplant dip tasted like tzatziki...The potatoes were bland and I think they microwaved them. Zucchini fritters we're ok, bit they were completely soggy and uncooked inside, great flavour though. ANd finally the octopus was chewy and too charred that it tasted bitter. So overall the food wasn't so great but purely for the atmosphere and the service alone I would come back.👋🙂💗💗

This was a nice authentic, family-run Greek tavern. The lamb(Arni) was nice and soft and the goat(katstiki) was tasty. Zucchini fritters were AMAZING! Would come again but not too often because the menu isn’t that big, just enough for the greek classics like mousaka, souvlakia etc. We had a nice time and prices were pretty cheap/reasonable compared to what you would pay at other places. Thankyou

I had my birthday dinner at Little Kalymnos last night. What a spectacular evening is all I can say!!! I’ve been receiving messages from my guests all day saying how much they enjoyed the authentic Kalymnian experience.. From the moment you walk into the restaurant you are transported back to ‘big Kalymnos’ lol Tammy the owner meets you with a genuine smile and makes you feel at ease with her helpful, warm and accommodating nature.. The staff are very friendly and attentive throughout the whole service. John the waiter paid exceptional attention to my elderly mother to ensure she was comfortable and enjoying her evening.. The majority of the group had the set menu.. it was an exceptional menu and such value for money.. plus the quality and portion size of each delicious course that came to the table was not your usual Greek style banquet menu. The highlights for me was definately the mouth watering chargrilled octopus, the melt in your mouth arni sto fourno, succulent souvlakia and the delicious saganaki prawns.. the platters just kept getting better and better.. The live entertainment was fantastic as well with a live singer Stratos and keyboard artist for the entire duration we were there. Playing all the nisiotica (island songs) that I’ve grown up with, being Greek (Kalymnian) myself.. mum loved it and he even serenaded her at one point.. it was such a next level evening.. so much fun, laughter and enjoyment to be had.. It seriously felt like my own private function, even though there were other patrons in the restaurant. I highly recommend Little Kalymnos for any function or a la carte dinner or lunch.for exceptional service, food and atmosphere.. I’m so grateful to all the staff there in making my 50th birthday...

This isn't a meal, this is a full on experience. Came here last night for my brother-in-law's birthday with the family, and let me tell you, absolutely phenomenal. For entrees we had pita breads and yo the taramasalata was like a cheeky kiss to the tastebuds, straight up delicious. The next was cabbage rolls stuffed to the brim, so tender and melt in your mouth it's just not fair to other foods man get out of here. The calamari was lightly fried but tender and juicy and yo the salad had more feta than you could cram into your plate. There was also a plate of some pasta-rice stuff with meat and a cheeky cinnamon sauce base that I was told is a secret family recipe. Yo, I would not doubt it - that was legitimately a life changing dish. The mains we had lamb skewers and they PACK that on there ain't no skimping on the servings, and if you ain't had their octopus you need to evaluate your choices son, get into that fresh tender goodness. To top it off, phenomenal live music, above and beyond service (even though fully packed) that just makes you want to come back again and again. Thank you, I know now when I wanna come back I am straight up booking a table because it is busy and definitely...

I will not go into details to describe every single plate! To me as a Greek feels like a microwave takeaway Far West suburbs rubbish food!! An octopus that you need a great white shark denture to chew and swallow ! Shame on you guys serve us a little claypot with some lamp God knows how long was sitting in the kitchen and on top of that under at the bottom that slab of fat!! As a Greek from Greece I feel shame for people here try to recreate Greece and all they looking is to cut corners serve dog food and charge five-star service!! The only thing I can say the staff was very friendly maybe there are aware that's the only quality that can provide to the customers. Hope you wake up one day from your greediness and realise it's not all about money!! I'm Greek like you but born there with philotimo!!!

I hope this week's critic reset your service and make it to serve good food instead of can't wait to finish the night go online to your smart up and check your bank savings balance

RUN YOUR RESTAURANT WITH FILOTIMO AND GOD WILL...
