It's a lovely park, small but it offers a lot to both tourists and locals. For one, you can jog or do exercises whether during early morning or late arvo. There's also a public toilet in case you needed one. Don't expect it to be that clean or new though. Also, there's a considerable-size stage where programs can be held like music festivals. Expect some tables too for planned or spur of the moment get-togerhers.

There's also fairs and rides held there that coincide with popular events at several dates yearly, the most anticipated of which, for me, is the New Year's Eve fireworks!

Lastly, it overlooks the Forster-Tuncurry bridge and the Great Lakes. Now, that doesn't anymore need an...

Lovely Tuncurry markets is hold here on the fourth Saturday of the month. Great place to find gifts and bric a brac.

Dolphins are known to love surfing not far from the bridge.

The park is near the beautiful lake and the white long bridge. It is a pretty busy bridge which connects Forster to Tuncurry. However ample parking is nearby along the streets.

One of the jewels in the crown of Tuncurry. It looks across the river to Forster. The park, named after one of the founding settlers to the area, has spectacular views down the river into Wallis Lake and up the river to the mouth, and out into the ocean.
