Buttons Beach — Attraction in Ulverstone

I love this beach. The long stretch of coastline to walk along, the creek in the middle of it, the views to Mount Gnomon, the general happy vibe that is here is wonderful.

There’s a bike/walking paved path along the road and you can hop over on any of the designated pathways over the dunes. There’s a section that welcomes dogs and an active community of friendly dog walkers.

The waves are gentle and in summer the water is so refreshing. The sand offers endless hours of entertainment for the kiddos.

Stunning beach, big stretch is off leash for dogs, lots of little rock pools to explore, my dog & little grand daughter love it here. At one end you have a little cafe & toilets....
