Wonderful conservation reserve for anyone who loves native WA wildflowers! See but DO NOT TOUCH natural native sun orchids and other orchid species, July to November. PLEASE do NOT dump rubbish, and keep your dog under control. Its a bit of a hangout for wildflower photographers, native orchid researchers and enthusiasts and conservationists. Beware the occasional psychotic homeless camper or cubby houses built by youngsters. Please before you post a photo of flowers you see in local bushland, check whether its an environmental weed. You can make a comment about any weeds you see, but I don't want to see photos of South African weed Gladiolus or freesia or Cape Daisy.

Very quiet native bushland in the middle of suburbia. Good place for a quick run. The bushland has a few walking trails, which all have signs giving information on the local flora and info on aboriginal seasons. The northeast corner of the bushland had Warwick Stadium sports centre, and in the west is Warwick Senior High School.

A great place for a walk. Pram/wheelchair friendly. We visited in spring and the area was bursting with colors from a wide variety of flowers, including orchids!

This is one of many bushlands in metropolitan Perth that were lucky haven't succumbed to "development". I hope they never will! My youngest daughter (14) and I enjoyed one of the paved- path strolls on an underexposure warm autumn afternoon. We'll return in spring for the orchids and other wildflowers we...
